My husband and I had a fantastic day out with Mark and his pup Missy. We enjoyed exploring Howth, walking the beautiful coastline and hearing stories and history of the area. We ended with a great pub lunch right by the train station. Book the trip, a great ( and easy) addition to a Dublin visit. Thank you Mark ( and Missy) for a perfect day!

Patrick was an amazing guide. We all enjoyed the walk. Thanks to Patrick we now know why an Irish wake is called a “wake”. Disappointed that Tilly the dog opted out of the walk. Highly recommended.

Patrick was amazing, full of historical events and just entertaining jokes. Hike was a bit more strenuous than this 65 year old with bad knees and back counted on but Patrick and other guests were patient with me and offered a hand when the going got tough. Wouldn't have missed the amazing landscape for anything!! Easy train trip from Connolly station in Dublin!

Fabulous hike with @ThePaddyLeon and pup! With history, humor, nature insights and glorious views - could not have been better. After a dead easy train trip out from Dublin, we met a Paddy and his pup and set off walking…easy pace, regular stops for nature/history/general info/outlooks. We were very lucky with the weather but Paddy and the Tilly/Bella (our canine companions) made the trip for us and our early 20s family members…funny, engaging, great conversation, excellent impersonations…like was a solid 3 3-4 hours, followed by drinks and an excellent lunch at The Bloody Stream. Great day!!!

This was such a great tour! Paddy was such a fun guide, and even though it was pouring rain when we left, he kept us entertained. When the rain finally stopped, we were rewarded with a rainbow over the ocean. There were plenty of gorgeous views, and interesting stories, and we loved having Tilly the dog with us as part of the trip. Ending with pints at the pub was the perfect conclusion. Highly recommend this tour!

Great day trip from Dublin. Super easy to get to from Dublin via the metro. Our guide Kevin was excellent - super funny and lots of great anecdotes and recommendations! We lucked out with really great weather for the hike too and the scenery was breathtaking! If you’re looking for a day trip to see a little bit of county outside Dublin, this is a great option! Also, looks like a great town to stay over as visit too. Thank you for a great day!

We had SO much fun with Paddy. He was hilarious and so knowledgeable about the area. He was very engaging with the whole group. Would come back to Howth just to do this all over again! I can’t remember the last time I laughed that hard.

We can’t say enough about this hike! This is the perfect activity to refresh your spirit if you’ve been spending time indoors in museums and pubs or on the city streets of Dublin. Mark and Missy were wonderful hosts and guides for this exhilarating walk up the cliffs! Mark is knowledgeable, engaging, professional, and a great storyteller. We had one other couple with us for the excursion, and enjoyed being in a small, congenial group. My husband and I are both fit and active seniors in our 60s and 70s, and we were able to complete the hike, even if one of us (okay, it was me) had to slow down a bit at times. We did bring our hiking poles specifically for this activity and were glad we did. Mark was extremely considerate and always aware of how each participant was doing during the hike. We had a great lunch at the Bloody Stream after, and would do this hike again any time! Some general tips for visiting Ireland: You won’t need a car (or want one) for travel around greater Dublin. The bus and train systems are very user-friendly. Bring a lightweight raincoat large enough to fit over your other outerwear (like a parka), and bring rain pants and waterproof shoe covers, too. If you normally use hiking poles to walk and hike at home, bring them with you. We compromised and brought one each; it turned out to be a good decision.

We had an amazing time on the Coastal Hike with our guide, Patrick. He was incredibly knowledgeable and funny — his stories and humor made the experience truly memorable. This hike ended up being one of the highlights of our short visit to Dublin! I highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys the outdoors, a good story, and a nice laugh. Patrick is the best — I’d rate him 10 stars if I could!
