We lucked out with a beautiful day. Took the train from Dublin to Howth (30 min?) and met in front of a resturant right at the train station. Paddy with his loud Irish accent and companion Tilley greeted us. Off we went on a 3 hour walk. Lots of history. Lots of laughs. Beautiful views. Be prepared for some uphill trail walking. Finished with a Guinness and lunch and more laughs. One of our highlights of our trip to Dublin.

I really enjoyed this experience. I knew it was about a 3 hour hike, but did not realize it would be mostly uphill! Not for those afraid of heights or with mobility issues. Our guide Patrick was very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny! The views from up on the cliffs were spectacular and the pups we met were a nice addition. When the hike was over, I was more than ready for my pint!

This was a great day trip. I went by myself since my husband and nephew were golfing for the day and I was so glad I went. Our guide, Patrick, was a hoot! He was entertaining, informative, and he seemingly knew everyone in the town! Navigating to the meeting point via the DART couldn't have been easier. Patrick met us at the pub right outside the station with Tilly, the sweetest 16 year old pup. While she didn't accompany us throughout the entire duration of the hike, we still got lots of time with her and her two younger siblings before and after the hike. The Guinness and lunch afterwards were a great way to end the outing.

PLEASE BOOK THIS TOUR! This may have been one of the most beautiful and enjoyable tours I have ever taken. Mark was an absolutely wonderful host. He is very funny and provide lots of information about Howth and Ireland in general. Wear hiking shoes or other stable footwear as it is a true hike with much of it uphill. Well worth the effort to experience Howth with Mark and his adorable King Charles Spaniels (we were accompanied by Luna, who is the cutest and friendliest dog! You will earn the pint at the end of the trek. I meant it - BOOK THIS TOUR!

I specifically booked my trip to Dublin to do this tour as im petrified of heights and the thought of seeing puppies and pints at the end of a cliff walk is the only way you could potentially get me up there!! Patrick hands down is one of the funniest guys I have ever come across has you in stitches from the minute you meet up, full of knowledge of Howth throughout the trip, and has got the trick of distracting nervous cliff walkers with talking about the mountain and plants and not the drops at the other side of you down to a tee I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. The puppies are gorgeous and an absolute bonus plus Tilly little cutey. Thank you Patrick 😊

Wonderful experience. There's a huge chance I will end up booking this again before I leave just because I had so much fun. If you're considering this, I say go for it. You'll get to meet some very nice people & the puppies are so cute! Really really loved this.

Mark (and Missy) made this a really fun hike up the Cliffs of Howth. Super easy to meet outside the train station, and off we went! Be advised that my FitBit logged 75 flights of stairs and more than 16,000 steps, so this is not for anyone with mobility issues. Small groups, snappy talks along the way, fun stories, and gorgeous scenery. We lucked out with a sunny but windy day. Best of all, a pint and food at the Bloody Stream. We lucked out with an outside table and live music. And Mark sends you am amazing video of the hike! Thanks for a great experience!!!

Patrick was a fun and knowledgeable tour guide! He shared much about Irish history and culture that added to the sites we visited. The pups were a big plus! Loved the puppy snuggles. We enjoyed meeting everyone and sharing a pint at the end of our hike. A great way to visit Howth!
