Perast
According to legend, the local seamen made an oath to the icon of Madonna and Child which was found on a rock in the sea. They laid a rock in the Bay upon return from each successful voyage, and over time the small island emerged. Today, you can find the Church of Our Lady of the Rocks on the island. The church contains over 70 works of art, among them the ten-meters long, The Death of the Virgin. The island is accesible by a short boat ride. Alternatively, feel free to explore the town of Perast during your free time here.
Our Lady of the Rocks
Floating like a jewel in the cerulean embrace of the Adriatic, Our Lady of the Rocks island beckons with its serene beauty and storied past. Carved by human hands, yet cradled by nature's grandeur, it stands as a testament to faith, tradition, and the timeless allure of the sea. Boat ride from Perast to the island is 10€ per person.

It was a beautiful experience and tour, but tiring because we had to wait a long time for the bus on the way back due to accidents on the road. In addition, the disadvantage was that we spent more time on the bus, on the road, than at the tourist locations.

I booked a tour to Montenegro and was completely satisfied. Our tour guide Tina was extremely friendly and passionately shared the history of the city of Kotor with us. She was very dedicated, well-prepared, and could competently answer all our questions. I would book the tour again anytime and can definitely recommend it.

New trip and a new experience. The border crossing was faster than expected, and we had a pleasant excursion with our guide Emma, who was approachable and kind. Recommendations for Rock Tours.

The tour was very well organized and enjoyable from the beginning. There was not much waiting at the border, which made the journey comfortable and stress-free. Our tour guide Tina was extremely kind, professional and shared a lot of interesting knowledge and stories throughout the excursion, making the experience even more special. Kotor itself is a beautiful small town with a very charming atmosphere. The old town is clean, full of history and surrounded by stunning nature. We especially loved the many cats around the city, which give Kotor a unique and cozy feeling. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and definitely worth visiting.
