Bolafjall
Just 3 years ago, Bolungarvík opened its boldest attraction: a cliff-edge viewing platform atop Mount Bolafjall, 628 meters above sea level. Suspended by 60 tons of steel, it offers thrilling views over the village, dramatic fjords, and even, on clear days, all the way to Greenland. Dare to step out and see Iceland from above!

5.00We did this trip through the West Fjords as a couple and it was an amazing experience. Everything was very well organized, and the atmosphere was always friendly and relaxed. The landscapes are stunning, and exploring them together felt really special. The guide was very attentive and took us to beautiful, quiet places. Definitely a perfect trip to enjoy as a couple and create unforgettable memories. Highly recommended.

5.00Even though the viewpoint was cloudy, the overall experience was absolutely amazing. The guides were incredibly professional and made us feel more like friends than customers. We had great conversations and learned so much about life in Iceland, the culture, and how the Icelandic system works from people who actually live there. The attention to detail and warmth they showed made the tour truly special. We loved it and highly recommend it!
