With this tour you will be able to do a unique activity at sea level, since in other latitudes the only possibility is at 1000 meters above sea level: you can ride a bicycle with nails or walk with crampons on the frozen water without risk!
You can visit a famous winter resort, Valle de Los Lobos (Wolf Valley), whose owner went to Alaska to run a sled race and returned to the country with wolves to improve the breed of his dogs.
You can visit active and inactive beaver's dams, knowing the history of these animals in Argentina and their impact in the region.
You can also enjoy a high quality lunch in the center of Ushuaia, included in the tour.

Valley of Wolves
We start our excursion departing in the morning from Ushuaia Extremo Travels, San Martín 830. We drive 16 km out of the city, through the unique landscape offered by National Route No. 3, towards the Valle de Lobos winter resort. We will travel for approximately 4 km looking for a range of 4 beaver farms, some old and inactive and others in current operation, being able to observe the incredible work of these non-native animals with their dams or dams, and their work in the Fuegian forests. The tour will alternate between mobility assisted with electric bicycles and walking with crampons, as there are incredible accumulations of ice at sea level, and you can ride on frozen water without any risk. This same activity takes place in other latitudes but can only be found at altitudes of more than 1,000 meters. The experience culminates with lunch in the city.

You can either choose to do it in an electric assisted bike or a fully mechanic one. I chose the electric option and had a wonderful experience. The ride was almost effortless thanks to the electrical motors. All the bicycle have nails to increase the wheels grip and thee electric ones might continue spinning the back wheel after a fall. Your clothes might get trates by the nails, so don't wear your favorite jacket and trousers. In the beginning I had some trouble turning while riding in compacted snow and also going over obstacles. It's worth mentioning that the bike is perfectly capable of going over anything. Nonetheless, after a while I got used to the bike and did the rest of the tour without any trouble. The scenery was beyond amazing and my only regret was not taking more photos. If you have a GoPro definitely take it to this tour. Our guide, Charly, made everything even more enjoyable. He recorded some of our expedition and sent us photos and videos a few days later. I only got one photo riding the bike but it's a great one. Furthermore, he gave us for some 4x4 fun by taking a detour on our way back to the city. Overall, the trip feels unique and I highly recommend it.
