  We had a great food tour with Junie. She drove us to five different areas to try about 10 different dishes which really gave us a great overview of the many different types of dishes and food available in the area as well as a bit of city tour. She also told us a lot about the town and its different ethnic groups. At the end she even kindly sent us some recommendations for other restaurants to try based on the dishes we liked the most. We really enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it!

  Jesus (guide) and Baptist (driver) gave us a wonderful personal experience where we visited a mixture of restaurants, stand alone stalls and hawker stall ‘collectives’, sampling at least 12-15 different dishes and a few types of local beverage. They were both engaging and Jessi spoke very articulately about Penang’s history and its food scene. We never felt rushed and there was plenty of food (no way we could have finished it all, so it’s worth pacing yourself!).

  I heard all about the amazing street food in Penang and this is an excellent tour to sample what Penang has to offer. I am a fussy eater but I found everything to be delicious. My recommendation is to try and avoid lunch as there is alot of food on this tour! I would add this tour as a 'must do' in Penang.

  Kevin was such an awesome host. He took us to taste many fantastic dishes and we left extremely full and satisfied. It was great to see my kids trying and liking foods I would have never expected. The food quality and variety were excellent. It was also nice to see the city and learn more about its history. Thank you Kevin for a great morning.

  We were guided through the local area expertly by Kevin who explained the ingredients and method of cooking in each dish we tasted. It was a wonderful experience and one we will remember with great memories.

  This was a great experience! Junie was so knowledgeable and passionate and showed us places and food we’d never have found on our own. It was just myself and my partner on the tour and she drove us around town to different spots and chatted about Georgetown sights in general too (and answered loads of our questions, and gave extra recommendations beyond the tour!). We tried so many different foods, make sure you go hungry! Highly recommended

  Lovely experience in the small alleys, eating where the locals eat and tasting the authentic dishes, from Starters to dessert. Kevin Wong was great at getting the right food and he know all the people and they know him. We felt safe and there was soo much different flavours.

  Junie was a fantastic tour guide. We went to some really great places to eat, trying different types of food and drinks and she also answered a lot of questions about Penang and its history in general. We were 3 vegetarians and 1 vegan and Junie accommodated our dietary requirements with no problems, we felt treated the same as the others with no requirements and we didn’t miss out on anything. Having the minivan drive us between stops made it easier to cover more ground in the heat. Also a nice way to see some of Georgetown. Highly recommend!

  Kevin our guide was excellent, he took us to places we would have never considered eating. He explained all about the food and its origins, the whole evening was brilliant. Thoroughly recommend the food experience and having Kevin as your guide
