First the good, I had a great time on the bike ride and thoroughly enjoyed the ride around and up the Rock. Guides did a good job of handling the group. The e-bikes did all the heavy lifting. I am 70 in decent shape and probably hadn't been on a bike for 30 years (but was a bike nut when I was a teenager.) I had no problem climbing the elevations. Now two negatives. First, we did not go to the top. We got halfway up with the final stop at the Siege Tunnels. (We had 25 minutes in the Siege Tunnels which were not even listed as a stop on the itinerary.) We were not told of this until we were about an hour into the ride. I don't know when and why there was this change to the itinerary, but one of the other riders told me Ian said there was too much traffic on the narrow higher roads due to the shutdown of the cable cars. I don't believe it was because of time as I heard Ian say the group was doing very well. (I don't know how much longer it would have taken to get from the Siege Tunnels to the Top, but as I said previously, we had a 25 minute stop that wasn't scheduled.) Second, my wife and I were the last two to get bikes. My wife is 5'6" and they didn't have enough of the smaller bikes. Ian made a comment that there were a lot of short riders in the group. Ian started to grab one of the white bikes and another guest said it was hers. Then he got a black bike which was too tall. They changed out the seat had it as low as it could go, but that still left my wife on her tippy toes to stand with the bike. He told her that is what it should be. But, when I had previously asked about the height of my seat, he saw that I could just stand flat footed and said that was what it should be. Two minutes into the ride, my wife gave up feeling she was not safe. The second guide rode up to me and asked why she bailed out so quick. When I said she felt unsafe on the bike he said he noticed she was on her toes and he could have lowered the seat. So, even though riders gave their heights as part of the booking, they didn't have enough of the smaller bikes for the group. In summary, if they had a bike for my wife and if we had gone to the Top, I would rate this 5 stars - Awesome. For equipment / safety concerns, I would rate this 1 star. Therefore, 3 stars. (I said I would recommend this tour, but that is only if you get the full experience.) I really was looking forward to this tour.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with this company. We did a three hour bike ride tour up the Rock with Dave. So impressed the next day we did the Round Gibraltar ride with Nabil. Would highly recommend this company for their safety, great well looked after bikes and knowledgeable guides.

Really helpful and nice guide Nabill. We booked a tour because the funicular was closed. And it was great! Better to visit in the second part of the day - less tourists and traffic It was our first experience with e-bike. Enjoyed it very much.

Be sure to know the basics of how a e-bike works and in good riding shape. The guide Ian was great and did a wonderful job of educating us on the history.

Overall this was a great experience for our first time in Gibraltar. The trek up the mountain was difficult, but doable. Just gotta be in good shape. The e-bikes help, but you have to always pedal and put in some physical effort. We were slowed down by 2 people who had to stop and walk their bikes numerous times up the steep hills. One person even quit less than half way through. Would have had more time for pictures and enjoying the views had we not wasted time waiting for others. Would have liked more of an opportunity for pictures and stops along the way to enjoy the views. If not for the wasted time waiting for others and therefore not as much time for pictures and the views, this would have been a 5. One bit of advice - Don’t do this excursion if you are not in fairly good shape. E-bikes do not do all the work for you.

Excellent tour , very fun. Helps to be comfortable on a bike as there are times you travel near traffic and some hills, but the e bikes make it very easy. Guides are excellent.

The EBike-Gibraltar: Rock To The Top Tour was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. Our guide, Ian, was truly exceptional—he was informative, enthusiastic, and thoroughly entertaining. The bikes were in excellent condition and perfectly equipped to handle the steep hills of The Rock, allowing us to easily reach all the high points. We visited stunning sites, taking in magnificent panoramic views and exploring important historical locations. I especially appreciated the detailed safety briefing at the start and the fact that we never felt rushed. I highly recommend this experience!

It was an amazing ride. The views were spectacular and the guides were spot on. We had time for the siege tunnels. I stood where the queen stood when visiting Gibraltar. It was the best way to see the rock and it was freeing to ride up and down was euphoric. The bikes were well maintained and we had one seat issue that was fixed immediately. I ride a pedal assist e-bike regularly at 150lbs so no problem for me. My husband weighs 230lbs and rides his e-bike occasionally; no issues. My friend is about 140 and rarely rides and loved it. Now there were a couple of girls who struggled but it was more like they had not ridden in a long while. One said she would quit vaping when she got home. I would recommend you at least try a pedal assist bike before doing.
