What To Expect

Gold Camp Road will take you through what one would expect to see in Colorado, a breathtaking view at 2,000+ feet in elevation with over 14 miles of trail each way where you will see Colorado Springs in one direction and endless mountain scenery in the other. Bonus, there are multiple tunnels you get the opportunity to ride through as well as nearby waterfalls in the area. Prior to your self guided tour, riders are sent a short tutorial to get familiar with our eBikes. At the meeting point, riders are equipped with the confidence on how to ride and are provided guidance of their route with a map. Riders are outfitted with a side bag for their belongings as well as a helmet and lock. What is so unique with this self-guided tour is that you have the opportunity to ride and explore Colorado Springs where you want to go.

AMAZING! One of THE BEST adventure tours I have ever done thanks to the owner Ethan. He is quick to respond, patient to answer all questions and super helpful with his recommendations! We (me, my husband, coach and 3 teen boys) were in Colorado Springs for a weightlifting competition and found this awesome self tour, the Gold Camp Road. The scenery was breathtaking of the canyon and mountains! I loved the autonomy and lack of crowds. We did not see anyone else for hours. We did the 4 hour rental. Next time I would do 8 and go further into the mountains to make it to the lake:). Thank you Ethan for this EPIC experience!!!!!

Ethan was fantastic & ensured we had a fun adventure! Highly recommend! The views were amazing - we enjoyed on and off road fun - rode through several tunnels, and saw lots of wildlife.

Our rental was awesome. Getting our bikes, communication, and support was excellent. We rented for 4 hours and explored trails, roads, and parks. The bikes provided us access to areas where traffic jams were present for cars and we could easily navigate and see the sights without any interruptions. We used the All trails app (free) along with the recommendations from Ethan and had an amazing experience. Definitely support this business- they are professional and knowledgeable!

The team at Rocke Mountain Bike were all amazing. Great customer service from my first call to make a reservation, accommodating our groups needs and providing a guide. Nicole , thank you for answering my groups questions, working with us. Ethan thanks for a great ride, keeping our pace, the waterfall, providing riding tips to keep us safe and just being an all around nice guy

Highly recommend! Our tour guide, Ethan was amazing! We were running behind and he waited patiently and with a smile on his face, even though he had other scheduled appts to get to. He still took the time to explain everything to us before we took off for an amazing ride with stunning views! If I could give him 100 stars, I would!

Fun ride, good communication, great scenery! We would do it again! Starts paved and transitions to trail, which is effectively dirt road width. Loose gravel and washboard but very easy. One tunnel closed due to collapse so if you elect to go past this point their is a more technical single track climb and decent with a creek crossing leading to more wide dirt trails. The reserve by the starting point is also fun to zip around if you return with extra time.

Ethan was great to deal with. Dropped us a pin where to meet and he showed up with everything we needed. He let us try the bikes out to become comfortable with them and when we were ready he supplied us with a map and his number in case anything happened while we were on our excursion. We rode on the Gold Camp Road. There were no issues on the 4 hour trip and the ride was fabulous with beautiful scenery and breathtaking views. Would definitely do it again.

Ethan helped us pick a good ride option Rampart Ridge Road and Nicole was terrific in dropping off and picking up the e-bikes. The e- bikes were top notch and and the views was terrific.
