Join us for a pickup at 9 am, 11 am, or 2 pm from your accommodation. A 15-minute drive takes you to the wild and beautiful Lake Hawea, where you'll cruise along the Hawea River Track on an easy 30 km ride back to Wanaka town. A year-round delight, this classic Wanaka ride includes a strategic stop at Wanaka's best bakery for coffee and pastries. Once back in Wanaka town, just let us know, and we'll ensure you get a safe ride home. What To Expect
Lake Wanaka
Get to see the beautiful lake Hawea and river that connects it to lake Dunstan. The Hawea Whitewater Park is a real ride for those that brave the cold water. It's Free to use and has two different grades and a smaller wave at the top, which is fun to learn. The lower or bottom wave is bigger and this is where the pro's come to practice their kayak skills or surfing tricks. On any day you might see three or four people lined up to take their turn.

5.00Mark, the owner/operator, is accommodating, fun, and thorough. He picked us up at our hotel, took us to the drop point, provided a full orientation and safety briefing. He ensured we had multiple ways to contact him and repeatedly stressed his flexibility in meeting any needs we had. He does all this in a enthusiastic and upbeat manner because that's who he is. We had a great experience and loved supporting a small local business. Oh yeah, the ride was beautiful!
Nice rolling gravel ride at own pace

5.00Mark did a great job picking us up, showing us the route, going through the obligatory safety checks, and making sure bikes were ship shape. Route was gravel and sometimes narrow giving us a little bit of a mountain bike experience. Plenty of views and stops but we still completed the route in 4 hrs. Route returns to Wanaka and all we had to do is tell Mark where the bikes were and he picked them up.

5.00We had an amazing day exploring Lake Hāwea, the Hāwea river and Lake Wānaka. Mark couldn’t have made it easier for us. Great bikes, an awesome mix of scenery and always there to help with instructions, tips on local shops and after a tyre puncture (sorry Mark!) a new bike ready to go in 20 minutes. Highly recommended!

5.00This eBike trip was a highlight of our vacation. Mark does a fantastic job of explaining the route and giving tips. You guide yourself back to the starting point where we met Mark. The trails are beautiful. The bikes had strong motors and plenty of battery. The scenery is extraordinarily beautiful. Can’t recommend this highly enough.
