What To Expect
The Kelpies & The Helix
On the way to your first destination, your guide will point out all sorts of sights, firstly, Scotland’s most famous sculptures: the Kelpies. Quite spectacular against the skyline, you can’t miss these enormous ‘horse-like’ creatures as they erupt from the ground. Based on Scottish legend, Kelpies are shape-shifting water spirits that live in the rivers of Scotland. Your guide will have a story or two to tell you about these mythical creatures - and if you’re interested we can also tell you about some of Scotland’s other myths and legends.
Callander
Known as The Gateway to the Highlands, Callander is an extremely pretty tourist town. Bursting with coffee shops, gifts shops - and of course a fantastic whisky shop - the first stop on this tour will get you ready for everything that’s to come. You can also take a stroll along the River Teith which flows along the edge of the town, with spectacular views of Ben Ledi and the Craggs behind the town.

5.00This is a must-do on your visit to Edinburgh! Our guide, Fraser, picked us up at our hotel in a very comfortable van, and we were taken on a personalized tour through beautiful Highlands scenery with historical context for many of the things we saw! Fraser took the time to get to know us, and we loved chatting with him throughout the day. He answered our questions, knew tons about EVERYTHING, and he personalized the trip to things we would like. We felt very safe having him driving (especially after the whisky experience, haha!). It was an incredible way to see a ton of gorgeous spots at a very reasonable price and with a friendly person who knows all the history. The van was like a magic carpet whisking us from one wonderful thing to another. We highly recommend this experience!!!
