Edzna is a must see and there is no better way than to see it with a local guide. I had an exceptional guide named Hector. His depth of knowledge of the site and the Mayan people was truly impressive and only increased my appreciation of how amazing Edzna is. Hector was a joy to be around and you could really feel the love he has for his history and culture.

Seeing the Edzna Archeological site with Hector is an experience not to be missed in Campeche. This trip is an incredible value, basically a private tour of a top tier Mayan site. The description mentions a collectivo but that is incorrect, the transport is in the company's nice airconditioned car. Hector is an amazing guide, passionate, knowledgeable, and fun The timing is perfect- it is a quick trip by car to Edzna and the time on the tour is maximized for learning and exploring the ruins. We were back in Campeche in the early afternoon.

Hector was an amazing guide, extremely knowledgeable about the Mayan Ruins, history, and culture. He would clarify what was fact or speculation, and came across as someone with a passion for the local history. I would definitely retain Hector's service for other local sites.

Hector did an amazing job providing insights on the Mayan culture and helping paint images of their lifestyles in our imagination. He also suggested reference material the Popol Vuh.

Jose is a great tour guide. He is very informative. He is very accommodating to the needs of the group. If we needed to stop, he would.

The tour was amazing and our guide Hector showed us Edzna and the Mayan culture through his eyes and made the beautiful monuments come alive. He told us many little details that we would have missed exploring the ruins on our own. He was the guide offering us water and agua fresca. We would book him again

I had the best time on my tour to Edzna with Hector. He is such a kind and lovely person. We chatted the whole time. He knows so much about history, that I ended up asking him about anything to do with campeche history and the other Ruinas around yukatan. The Ruinas of Edzna are amazing. I can just recommend anyone to go there on a tour with Hector. Thank you for the amazing day :)

Yesterday we went on tour with Hector. A nice, spontaneous young man. Beforehand, Hector indicates that the tour is ours and he adapts to us. Do we suffer too much from the heat etc we may indicate this. We felt free to do this but also to ask questions. Hector talks with great enthusiasm about Edzná! In addition, he was also open to give other tips for our onward journey through Mexico. The only downside we had is the trip with the collectivo. There was nothing Hector could do about this himself! A nice experience to go with the collectivo! All in all we had a very nice morning/afternoon!

A place with a lot of history, lovely! It is very interesting how you mix the past with the present Mayan pyramids, strong to shelter from pirates , religious devotion , very friendly people and feel a quiet and safe place to walk and meet - the Mayan train left us in San Francisco de Campeche was a good opportunity to meet -
