What To Expect
We'll drive in avenida las Palmas for approximately 35 minutes, have your camera ready to take photos of the landscape and the views of the city.
We'll drive for approximately 20 minutes in llanogrande, enjoy the views while you relax.

5.00Had a full day adventure with our excellent tour guides Philip, Matteo, and steady driver Jefferson. Saw and experienced so much from the humble homemade arepa to the glorious heights atop Guatapé. They pack a lot in and keep the tour moving but it’s totally worth it. From land to sea and back again this is a great intro to all that you might want to see. Definitely recommend it!

5.00Another wonderful and interesting experience in knowing the history, the house manuela properties of famous Colombia The Cross that is located in the center of the lake. And the explanation about the shape of the lake watching it from the air (a dragon) Loved it.

5.00Tour is worth it. Bus picks you up at your hotel and after about a 30 minute drive takes you to a restaurant for a typical Colombian Breakfast or Brunch. Then you continue on to a tour of the replica city and a boat ride that covers the old city. You see an old property of Pablo Escobar that was bombed by the Pepes. Then off to the Peñol where you have an option to climb 740 steps to the top of the rock and see spectacular views. At the Peñol you’re taken to Restaurant Paisa for a typical Colombian lunch. Lastly you go to the beautiful town of Guatapé. Great tour. There are different tour companies that give this tour. The price is great for what you get. IG c_est_la_viz c_est_la_viz_2

5.00My cousin and I were lucky enough to connect with Lina who took us on a tour outside of Medellin including Guatape. Apart from her in depth knowledge about the places we visited she also helped us throughout our stay with lots of tips and advice. We would have been quite lost without her! We were in great hands with her and the company and would highly recommend using them again. Thanks again Lina!!

5.00I booked a Day Trip for two to Guatapé and El Peñol before arriving to Medellín. It was a perfect excursion with a stop in Guarne for a typical Paisa breakfast included in the price, another stop in the town of Marinilla and then to El Peñol where we climbed the rock and had a delicious bandeja paisa included for lunch. We then went to the picturesque town of Guatapé which is beautiful with all of the decorated "zócalos" on the business and homes. Our guide, Patricia, could not have been better. She was very knowledgeable about the history, architecture, and traditions of the area, and she interacted well with all of us. There were 14 in our group which made it a very pleasant experience instead of a big bus of 40! We also had free time to have coffee, shop, etc. If I go back to Medellín, I would take this tour again.

5.00Stop looking for cheaper tours !! Medellin travels has the best tours. Best transportation and really professional team. Alex is awesome!! great person. we had so much fun with him. Guatape was beautiful he explain everything so well. Yes you can go on your own to guatape and save money but, whats the point if you don't know the history behind everything. He also took us to eat to a very delicious place. Everything in colombia was great !! We booked 2 tours with him.
