What To Expect
Electrically assisted fatbike, an e-fatbike, is a game changer. It is arguably the most fun and versatile bicycle ever. Due to the wide, well-gripping tyres it runs smooth also on soft snow, and thanks to the electric power unit, an e-fatbike flattens the uphills. However, the joy of pedaling is not taken away. It is only up to the e-fatbike rider, how much assistance one will request by the electric assisting system of the bicycle. Often the level of assistance correlates the width of the rider’s smile! E-fatbike changes cycling on the forest trails much less strenuous than on conventional, 100 % muscle-powered bicycle. E-fatbikes are available in various frame sizes, which should match the riders’ height. 5.00This was Bliss Adventures first tour of the season and was splendid! We had some hesitations on what to book, and both Mikael and Artturi were very helpful over emails and phne calls. We opted for the efatbike tour, and it was a great choice. It is still mid November, "in between" seasons, so winter maintenance services are not yet fully in place. However there were big snowfalls the past days and there is a lot of snow on the ground this early in the season, so without full maintenance not all trails were open for bikes. Our guide Sergei took us where it was possible to ride the bikes safely, and then added a great snow shoeing experinec through the woods, with fresh untouched snow and sights of the fell glowing in the sun. So beatuiful and peaceful! Gorgeous sunny day to be out, in spite of the cold! It was a lot of fun riding the bikes, equipment (bikes, helmets, snow shoes) in perfect conditions, and they lend us proper mittens for the extreme cold (-18ºC) to make sure we were confortable. Sergei was very attentive and kind, taught us how to use the bikes and walk in the snow, took us to pristine places and showed us how to look for animal tracks. Everything at our pace, very relaxed, no rush at all. And introduced us to delicious hot berry juice to warm up! Great tour, great guide, wonderful day! Strongly recommend Bliss Adventures for quality of equipment, kindness with costumers, flexibility and knowledge of the area!

5.00We went on about a three-hour adventure ride through quite challenging terrain, but thanks to Artturi’s clear and helpful instructions, even first-timers were able to get the most out of the bikes. The rocky and demanding “Soutajan” trail to the campfire spot went smoothly with the quality bikes provided. The service deserves extra points — both the rental and return process worked perfectly. Thank you, Artturi, for creating such a great experience for our family!

5.00Out guide, Essie, was excellent. She was really friendly and explained everething well. The conditions were a little heavy because the wind blew the snow on the bike track but the biking was still really fun!! We would totally do it again!!
