Very nice tour. We recommend starting first thing in the morning, then the island is still nice and empty and you have the caves almost to yourself. Reach the goal in just 15 minutes with the speedboard. Our guide has explained many details, although some prior knowledge is certainly not bad, especially regarding Shiva and his family. The tour is expensive, but if you are looking for a once-in-a-lifetime and tranquil experience in overpopulated Mumbai, it is worth every penny.

The crew was professional and the speed boat was soic & span clean-equipped with all safety requirements. We used the speed boat service so that we could get to the Eleohanta caves in a third of the time vs the ferry. As a result we were able to enjoy the site alone before the arrival of other tourists on the ferry. During the round trip the crew paused when requested for photo opportunities. I highly recommend the use of this speedboat service.

My husband and I were very happy that we spent a little extra to go on this tour! Having the speedboat take us to the island meant that we arrived well before the crowds and had the Caves all to ourselves for most of the tour. It also meant that we were back in Mumbai with plenty of time for the rest of our day. Our guide, who is local to Elephanta Island, was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. We learned so much about the history of the caves and the meanings of the different carvings. He also took some great photos of us.

Avinash was an amazing guide, givinge an in depth explanation of everything i was seeing. Thanks to the speedboat, we were the first ones to arrive to the island, and being the only people in the caves was magical. Gorgeous gorgeous place, and worth every cent.

My wife and I had an amazing experience provided by the team. Diksha and Sufiyan were amazing; I can't express how professional they've been. The trip to Lonavala and Karla Caves, was exceptional. They had a great driver who took us there. The guide provided was very knowledgeable; she gave us deeper perspectives and meanings at the places we visited. I had a totally amazing experience, and my wife was just blown away by the quality of how this was all put together. Thank you for all of this!

Absolutely incredible. Leaving early and by speedboat means you beat the crowd and have the whole site to yourself. Avi the tour guide was knowledgable, friendly and generous. Additionally, he was so kind to my older mother who struggled a little with the stairs. 10/10 would recommend.
Beat the heat & crowds, do the caves this way!

Our 9.00am speedboat tour arrives at the caves well before the crowds on the ferry, our guide Avinash was enthusiastic and knowledgeable and the sculptures are amazing. A totally worthwhile tour.

This is by far the best option for visiting the amazing cave temples at Elephanta Island. Smooth organisation and we arrived first before the tourist hordes on the public ferry. Well worth spending the extra money on, if you want a first class and unique experience of a truly magical place.
