The El Cat, built right here in Moss Landing, is a fully electric, 32 passenger, Coast Guard-certified vessel. This is a custom 37’ catamaran built and designed especially for the waters of our very own Elkhorn Slough.

This was a great way to see wildlife and learn about the history and environment. Seals, pelicans, sea otters, sea lions, cormorants and more. Highly recommend!

Only otters, seals & birds. Took this tour 20 years ago. Back then there was more wildlife. Traveling in the pontoon there more islands of grassy areas with lots of wildlife that was close up. The narrators were excellent & knowledgeable & really enjoyed their narrations.

This was a great way to experience the water and learn about the Elkhorn Slough. Our guide was so knowledgeable and we learned lots of interesting information about all the wildlife there - including otters, sea lions, harbor seals, and pelicans. The boat ride was smooth. Highly recommend this educational and fun tour.

Fabulous experience! Every moment was like a scene from national geographic :). Helena the marine biologist and the captain were awesome: warm, welcoming, and very generous with their knowledge. Wear/bring layers, although they do have blankets on the boat.
