First, walk 3 km through old-growth Taiga forest as your guide shares insights into Finnish nature, wildlife, and traditions.
Midway, pause at a scenic lakeside for a cozy campfire break. Grill your Finnish sausage, enjoy a sweet bun, and sip blueberry juice.
After relaxing by the fire, we return through the woods. You’ll head back to the city refreshed and recharged.

What To Expect
Meet your guide at the designated meeting point in central Helsinki and depart for Nuuksio National Park (approx. 45-minute drive). Upon arrival, begin a relaxing one-hour nature walk through the forest. Learn about Finnish wildlife, nature, and culture from your guide. Explore the forest and discover seasonal highlights — from wild berries and mushrooms in summer and autumn to to traces of snow and ice in early spring. Next, arrive at a scenic lakeside spot and enjoy Finnish-style snacks by a cozy campfire: grill your own sausage and sip refreshing blueberry juice. After the break, enjoy a 30-minute walk back through the forest to the car. You'll return to the city around 7 p.m. feeling refreshed and recharged after enchanting forest experience.

5.00This is a fantastic tour for nature lovers. Just about 30 minutes outside the city, you find yourself in a beautiful national park surrounded by lakes and forest. We even spotted a family of white-tailed deer. Halfway through, we stopped to cook sausages, which were delicious, before heading back along an easy trail. Our guide, Jeff, was incredibly knowledgeable—he answered all our questions and shared so much interesting information about Helsinki, as well as the local flora and fauna. Overall, it was a fabulous experience.

5.00Just one word: WOW! Everything was perfecty arranged and our guide was awesome. Really loved the nature and Nuuksio is a place like no other. I highly recommend this guided trip to Nuuksio. Ps. Loved the lakeside campfire where you can truely connect to the unique nature of Nuuksio nationalpark.

5.00We had a trip to Nuuksio with Taigatimes and it was a relaxing and fun afternoon in Nuuksio! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about Finnish nature and culture, and the lakeside campfire was a great touch! The trip was made afternoon around 15-19 and it was so relaxing after hectic city day into shopping malls! Big shoutout to the Guide Jeff who was fun company and told the secrets of the nature and mashrooms!

Our guide, Jeff, was such a pro, yet a funny and relaxed guy, making the whole trip even more enjoyable. Fun fact: Nuuksio is home to the flying squirrel – Finland’s cutest “ninja of the treetops”! 🐿️

5.00Oh I had such a lovely time! Thank you so much to our guide 🫶🏻 The walk was great and I enjoyed it alot, but personally best part was the delicious food, the campfire, and the stories that got told around it. It was quite scary going alone, but our group was really lovely and quite small, and there were even a few other solo travellers. Again, our guide was brilliant, super welcoming, and had so so so much knowledge about pretty much everything nature related! I also loved that this was in the afternoon so I could have a lazy morning around town and sleep in a bit. 11/10 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
