This was our second visit to Mänttä and these beautiful museums! Today we enjoyed both Pääkonttori and Kartano. Riiko Sakkinen's Los Moimois was really powerful, even raw somehow. It raised a lot of questions and made me think. Exhibitions in Kartano were impressive too. The masks spoke with so many words and languages! Thank you!

Serlachius Museum Gösta shows beautiful European art from the 16th and 17th centuries, but above all the masterpieces of Finnish painting, such as Helene Schjerfbeck, Akseli Gallen-Kalleli, Hugo Simberg. Serlachius Museum Gustav tells the history of the timber industry in Mänttä.

3 h of riding was worth for a family who hates traveling, we’ll come again! Overnight is necessary I think.
