Green Equator Masaka Rd
This is the most recognized landmark on the map of Uganda. Its the major latitude that divides the world into two equal hemispheres, Northern and Southern hemispheres. We shall carry out an experiment to distinguish Northern and Southern hemisphere, the place is surrounded by beautiful craft markets where you can buy souvenirs, and a walk for 15 minutes around town and after we shall drive back to Kampala which will almost take the same time , So the whole trip go and flow takes an approximate of 4 to 5 hrs and we use a private car.

We didn’t have much time so the trip was short and we missed seeing the village life and other experiences, but we stood over the imaginary Equator line (at the center of the world!) and we enjoyed the journey thanks to our guide, Steve, who was so friendly and welcoming!

Steve is an amazing guide and I had a great day. He also went above and beyond and offered another tour the next day. The equator trip is amazing and Steve filled in gaps left be the local tours explanations. Would highly recommend this private tour to the equator for a great day!

This is a quick stop. You can stand on 0° latitude without paying for an entry fee of any kind. There are a lot of tourist related shops around there to buy your souvenirs but mostly you just want your picture in the big equator circle.

It was a real value for money your and very interesting to visit a place of this nature. Steve was a most pleasant guide and safe transporter. It would have been nice if the aircon was working. But glad that I could negotiate transport all the way back to my accommodation with him.

We conducted a short notice trip to Kampala, without pre booking. Steven was handed to us by friends. He was able to provide nice views to his country, by organicing 3 nice day trips. Steven is really frindly, good informed and really accountable. He has the right skill to show you the nice side of Uganda. We will come back, visiting other areas with him. Good luck Steven and thanks! A&A
