5.00We were staying in Auckland for the week and wanted a day on Waiheke. The ebikes were the perfect way to see the island on our own schedule, plus hit a few tastings. When we checked in, we were given a marked map with verbal descriptions of the different offerings. After an introduction to the bike and a practice lap around the parking lot, we were off. The island is hilly but the ebikes made the ride very manageable, even for our non-rider. We stopped for a few tastings and snacks, plus for photos of the outstanding views. At the recommendation of the staff, after we dropped the bikes we walked up to Mudbrick Winery for a sunset drink. It was a perfect end to our Waiheke tour!

5.00Great experience and lots of fun. We’ve written on E bikes before and the roads can be a little intimidating. Beautiful Sites and experience! The crew at the bike stand was very professional and made sure you understood the Bike and its operation as well as the roads on the island. 👍😎👍

5.00Loved the freedom to go where we wanted and spend as much time or not where we wanted. A big piece of advice: USE THEIR APP TO TAKE YOU ON THE SELF-GUIDED TOUR. It covers all areas, it doesn’t burn your phone battery up, and you can pause it and spend time in between stops for as long as you want. Their app was SUPER helpful, even telling you things about the area and the places on the “tour”. Also, the people on the island were so friendly and more than willing to help and provide suggestions on the best things to see. We picked up our bikes around 10am and didn’t return until 5pm and we didn’t get to see everything. I definitely recommend spending the day so you can walk the beaches/trails, have a relaxed lunch on the beach AND time to try a couple of wineries or the distillery.

4.00Waiheke Island is beautiful and worth the trip. The pickup point is right at the ferry terminal, so that was very convenient and the staff was great getting us ready to go. There is an app you can download with the recommended route; our problem was that our phone died and we had to resort to using the physical map, which wasn't great. We got lost a couple of times and wound up riding a lot more miles than we expected to. The route is pretty hilly and we were exhausted by the time we finished, despite the help from pedal assist. So make sure your phone is fully charged and you should have a great time!
