5.00If you’re looking for a wonderful way to explore Waiheke Island, I can’t recommend cycling enough! The scenery is gorgeous, and even in the middle of winter, a sunny day makes for a truly enjoyable ride. The team at eRide were so friendly and helpful, and the bike was both comfortable and easy to use. Navigating with the map was straightforward—I didn’t even need my phone. I tried most of the 5 bays ride, enjoyed a delicious lunch in Onetangi, and ended my day with a glass of wine at Mudbrick, which offers some of the best vineyard views on the island. All in all, it was a fantastic day out!

5.00Absolutely the BEST way to visit Waiheke Island! Don't waste your time on a bus with a bunch of strangers. Go at your own pace with lots of stops and no other people in your group! The Bikes have plenty of zip to help get up the hills and the battery easily lasted the 5 hours we had the bikes. They provided the helmet, pannier (storage) and bike lock. They gave great directions and this was our FAVORITE day in New Zealand. No hurry, no hassle. We went to several beaches, got ice cream (twice!) and had lunch and a wine tasting along the way. HIGHLY recommend renting e-bikes and getting in the fresh air to enjoy the sights!

5.00Had a really great day biking the island. Easy to book on line. Friendly helpful staff who set us up, ensured bike was working well. Bikes come with bike lock, helmets and saddle bags and clear instructions how to get in touch if in trouble - even WhatsApp number. Given customized map plan where to bike , stop for cafes etc. There is no way you can bike the island without ebikes as it is very hilly but the bikes have loads of power to make the job easy. As well some roads are a little busy so careful - but that is cycling for you. Total 5 hour bike ride past beautiful beaches and coves. Stopped at Batch winery - stunning. Weather faultless. Definitely would recommend.

5.00The young lady at the checkin was so very nice and gave us great recommendations. The gentleman who fitted us on our bikes was super nice, patient, explained everything. The ride was still a workout as the island is very hilly. I’ve been having knee issues, so I stayed in levels 2 and 3 assist. Had a wonderful time! Spend time walking the beaches. Very lovely!
