Your journey will begin at Leticia’s airport. After paying the tourism tax, you will meet one of our local guides who will pick you up and take you to the first destination: the Flor de Loto Natural Reserve. Here, you will enjoy activities such as birdwatching, canoeing or kayaking, artisanal fishing, a night outing, and swimming in the lake or the Amazon River (depending on the season). You will spend your first night of disconnectiion in here.

The next day, after breakfast, you will head to the second stop, the town of Puerto Nariño. After a little walk and enjoying a local lunch, you will take a tour of the surrounding communities, visit the lookout tower, craft shops, relevant monuments for the community's history, and much more. Towards the end of the day, a family from the Tikuna indigenous community will invite you for dinner at their maloca. You will end the night with a nocturnal walk and return to your accommodation for rest.

On your last day, after breakfast, you will take another boat to visit the Peruvian community of San Antonio, also known as Cacao Island. Here, you will explore an ecological trail created by the community to observe, study, and protect primates, birds, and especially sloths. After the tour, you will enjoy a traditional lunch and return to Puerto Nariño, then to Leticia. This will conclude your last day of adventure and your immersive journey to the heart of the Amazon.

5.00Edwin has been a great guide, he’s extremely attentive towards the needs of his clients and has always a solution for any issues that could arise during the tour. This is due to his competence and knowledge about the history and culture of the surroundings and the acquaintance of basically everybody in the villages and in Leticia itself. The highlight of the tour is definitely the variety of experiences. It was three days but it seemed a lot more because of that

1.00This was very poor organised tour with misleading description. Tour operator fixed the first error revising the first night from place in the jungle to night in Leticia. He completely ignored that my flight out was at 14:25. He scheduled return to Leticia by 18:00. Was out of reach all day. Thanks to the guide we were able to switch the time. I was able to make my flight but it was very stressful. Communication in that area very challenging. Everything hast be brought up in writing a couple of days ago. Description of the tour is very generic and is not accurate. None of the places I stayed on the tour even is closed to 3 star hotels. Unless it is fixed I would not recommend the tour. A lot of time was spent on the organisation instead of enjoying the area
