What To Expect
Essential Flamenco
We want to recover the intimacy, which was the essence of authentic flamenco. The audience literally stuck to the stage, surrounded by three rows of chairs. No tables, no meals, no distractions. Pure flamenco. The flamenco jondo (jondo comes from deep, deep) combines, in a crucible never seen before, five musical cultures: the local Andalusian folklore, the music that brought the gypsies (that emigrated from India arrived to the south of Spain in the year 1400 ), Arabic music (the Arabs were from the year 700), and also musical features of the Jews and Castilians. It is a music that touches the universal soul.

5.00After excellent context, set and setting, no props only talent born of strenght thru passion. Perfect acoustics. Hindu hand movements faster than the eye. Suffering earnest mosque call to prayer as from minaret. Serious artistry, not comically happy. Hypnotic, trance inducing. Single Viola could be thought be a trio, a violin for a giant. Electric human speed. El Greco shell ornament shoes, heels on wood. Mythical presence, Sisyphus-like. Children are rapt. The male dancer frighteningly talented. Have seen 5 Flamenco dancers that could not compare. This holds the intrigue and mystery of the art form. If you have only one chance: here.

5.00The artists perform in a brick wine cellar. After a brief history of Flamenco, the show began. They started with a guitar solo. The male and female danced with a singer. They were excellent. The talent and the artistry were exceptional! The passion really showed. The next phase was a cello solo. The female dancer did a solo with the guitar, singer, cello, a drum, and clapping raised her performance. You could not keep your eyes off her with the music, her movements, and the stomping of the shoes. The final was the male dancer with a solo dance with the background music, singer, and female dancer clapping. He really showed his talent. At the end, the audience gave them a well deserved standing ovation. It was a great time for our family of four.

5.00First in the first floor hall with a ticket to exchange a large glass of sangria juice, the time to move to the basement of the small theater, the host first introduced the history of the flamenco dance, then there were different performers to play a few songs separately, the dancers appeared, men and women individually as well as men and women dancing together, the whole scene came very tight and wonderful. I suggest you can try it.

5.00Amazing experience! Never been to a flamenco show but it was so beautiful and passionate. The venue was great and dancers and musicians were top tier. Started off with a giant Sangria then led down to a private wine cellar to watch the show. Every seat in the house has a great view. Definitely worth going if you’re never experienced it before.
