What To Expect
Essential Flamenco
We want to recover the intimacy, which was the essence of authentic flamenco. The audience literally stuck to the stage, surrounded by three rows of chairs. No tables, no meals, no distractions. Pure flamenco. The flamenco jondo (jondo comes from deep, deep) combines, in a crucible never seen before, five musical cultures: the local Andalusian folklore, the music that brought the gypsies (that emigrated from India arrived to the south of Spain in the year 1400 ), Arabic music (the Arabs were from the year 700), and also musical features of the Jews and Castilians. It is a music that touches the universal soul.

5.00Excellent show! Performers were magnificent. My only suggestion would be to turn on some fans or ac. Was very warm in the cave. Also-the seats are tiny and very close together. Not “fluffy friendly”. The included sangria was delicious!

5.00The experience was amazing! Loved the hospitality from the friendly staff. The show was also very entertaining and the performance was very captivating. The sangria that came with the ticket was a really nice accompaniment to the show. Best for all ages.

5.00This is my fault but I showed up a half hour late and they still let me in. It’s expensive for a short 1-1.5 hour dance and drink. That said, if you are only in Spain once and you want to see some dancing this is a good way to do so. The clogs they wear act as instruments and to dance so furiously in dress clothing is impressive. Would recommend this event.

4.00It is a unique experience to see this presentation in a cave.. The Flamencss a lot of passion in their dance. Not very good musicians. They lack enthusiasm. The good singer. It would be better if I sang more to hide the lack of energy in the musicians.

1.00Beautiful location and very intimate stage in which interaction with audience is possible. Musically it is a long way from real Flamenco. Guitarist little real technical skills, clearly classically trained and has heard something from Paco da Lucia. Don't expect traditional Fandango, Bulerias etc.. Was glad it was over. A very commercially exploited concept. Only the dancer was good.
