Essential Flamenco

We want to recover the intimacy, which was the essence of authentic flamenco. The audience literally stuck to the stage, surrounded by three rows of chairs. No tables, no meals, no distractions. Pure flamenco. The flamenco jondo (jondo comes from deep, deep) combines, in a crucible never seen before, five musical cultures: the local Andalusian folklore, the music that brought the gypsies (that emigrated from India arrived to the south of Spain in the year 1400 ), Arabic music (the Arabs were from the year 700), and also musical features of the Jews and Castilians. It is a music that touches the universal soul.

Such a magical experience! You can feel the passion of the dance and the music. Experiencing it in a cave with no other distractions is truly amazing. The show was about an hour long and included a welcome drink. Do not pass on this opportunity!

Julieta welcomed us into the venue with the best sangria and made arrangements for family members who were running late. Her explanation of gypsy history was educational and interesting. The guitar music enchanted us. The strength, beauty and talent of the dancers excited us. The location is perfect. Your kids will love it too!

The program begins with a choice of a drink and a very brief introduction to the history of flamenco. The guitarist, two singers, and percussionist were very good. The dancers were outstanding! Unique and memorable experience.

Brilliant. The photos and description say it's intimate, but it's better than that. I've been close to flamenco in theatre's but this is soo much better than that. The staff were welcoming and informative, the dancers were exceptional and the musicians played perfectly. Just a really good experience. Tha k you

A great show in an intimate little basement room. Long enough to showcase each of the extremely talented performers, but short enough to keep the attention of a modern adolescent. My kids and I enjoyed the show and the preceding history talk immensely.
