Duquesne Incline
One of only two remaining funiculars in the City, the Duquesne Incline offers the best view of one of the top 6 Cityscapes in the World. While at the Upper Station, phtographs, exhingits, and a brigfht and breezy narration will explain how Pittsburgh became "One of the Coolest Cities on Planet Earth".
Mount Washington
The Duquesne Incline will carry us to the top of this ridge, originally called "Coal Hill". It provides the best view of one of the top 6 Cityscapes in the World.

5.00What a great experience! George Debolt has a wealth of knowledge and by far the most entertaining tour guide we have ever had and we have had many during our lifetime. Sometimes it is difficult to reach him (I guess because he is so busy) but do not let that stop you. The wait is well worth it. You will not be disappointed. If we do go back to Pittsburgh he is #1 on our list

1.00My girlfriend and I have taken countless tours across America, and **never—not once—**have we dealt with unprofessionalism like this. We booked an 11:30am tour for November 24, 2025, confirmed the day before. Then at 11:05am, just minutes before it was supposed to start, the operator abruptly canceled on us with zero explanation. We planned our entire day around this tour—and they still charged my debit card. This company is unreliable, unprofessional, and absolutely not worth your time or money. DO NOT BOOK.

5.00Ask for George. You will learn so much and it will be VERY enjoyable. When we return to Pittsburgh, we want to book another tour to learn more. He was entertaining, interactive and we learned SO MUCH. PLEASE bring at least 20$ in cash so as to pay for the Duquesne Incline fare; that part is cash only. (!! in 2025). Regardless, I highly recommend this tour. Learned to love and appreciate Pittsburgh!
