I want to highlight something that really stood out for me with Aman Ethiopia Tours and Travel: their email communication and professionalism. From the very first inquiry, their responses were clear, well organized, and incredibly consistent. Even with the time difference between Canada and Ethiopia, I was receiving replies within 24 hours, sometimes even faster. That level of follow-up gave me confidence before I even arrived. I booked a 15-day combined tour covering the Danakil Depression, Omo Valley, and Northern Ethiopia. I’ll be honest, their price was higher than some other companies I contacted. I even tried negotiating after receiving cheaper offers elsewhere, just to test how they would respond. Their answer was firm but respectful. They clearly said they are not a company that competes on the cheapest price or offers cheap services, and if price comparison was my main concern, it might be better to choose another operator. That honesty actually made me trust them more. Later, I asked for hotel upgrades in Addis Ababa and some key locations, and they handled it smoothly. Hotels like Maribela Hotel in Lalibela, Turmi Paradise Lodge, and Haile Resort in Arba Minch and Awassa were very comfortable and well chosen. I’ll say honestly that the hotels in Axum, Gheralta, and Bahir Dar were not as attractive as the others, but overall the accommodation level matched what was discussed in advance. The guides and drivers were another strong point. Mr. Fikru in Lalibela was genuinely knowledgeable and passionate. Kibrom, who worked as driver-guide, was excellent throughout. In the Danakil Depression, Solomon and his team were professional, supportive, and well organized, which is very important in such a demanding region. I traveled from Ottawa, and my son joined me from Berlin, so the tour was arranged for two people arriving from different countries. Everything was coordinated properly without confusion. Overall, it was a great holiday with solid planning, honest communication, and strong on-ground support. Aman Ethiopia Tours and Travel may not be the cheapest option, but if you value professionalism, reliability, and clear communication, they are worth it.

Impeccable, reliable and attentive in all respects We couldn’t have made a better choice than using Aman Ethiopia as a tour operator. After my daughter communicated with Amanuel at the headquarters via WhatsApp, it all resumed into a very pleasant trip for me and my family (4 people). We visited five tribes and moved every day to new destinations, with a new lodge. So we had to consider logistics. It was impeccable! In no case did they fail in planning. We were very lucky to have Sis as our driver guide and Dagim as our tour guide; they made every day interesting and fun. They drove with great responsibility and also knew how to approach the birds. If you are planning a similar trip to Ethiopia, ask both employees; you will not regret it.

From the beginning the communication with Aman Tour operators, the owner, was seamless. He answered many of my questions and concerns in a timely, professional and clear manner. He will give you a detailed breakdown of everything you are paying for so there is no surprises. I checked the hotel and campsite prices quoted to me through the company with their websites and the prices seemed to match up meaning there is minimal to no mark up. Aman even went out of his way to meet with us when we were going through Addis Ababa and introduce himself and ask how our trip was going. We had the pleasure of having Niko as our driver who was amazing. Very knowledgeable and personable and he got us everywhere we needed to be in a safe and timely fashion. He knew his way around the city and knew a tremendous amount about all the town and the culture of the people there. Niko went above and beyond to show us a great time. He also helped arrange getting some items I left at one of our lodge back to Turmi and went out of his way to pick up my stuff. My wife and I had a terrific time with Aman company, All the teams was terrific with arranging everything, and we cannot recommend This Tour Company enough for anyone coming to Ethiopia.

Fantastic journey organised by Aman Ethiopia Tours. Joseph was our guide, he speaks perfect English and was super knowledgeable about everything. He works incredibly hard making sure that the needs of all of his guests are met. Whilst we were travelling the office kept an eye on the situation regarding any conflicts in the north and our guide was notified when any roads were closed. We were definitely in safe hands. I recommend you change your money with the guides as Amanuel offers very good rates and the ATM machines aren’t that reliable, bring cash it helps everyone. I absolutely loved my time in Ethiopia and hope to return soon.

I was in Cuba for the 6th time in my life. Wonderful people, beautiful weather and beautiful cities and beaches. Unfortunately, since Corona, fewer and fewer tourists are coming to this beautiful island, while the population is dependent on tourism. I usually go to a Casa Particular of what have now become my friends. Not expensive ! They help me with questions. Many beautiful old buildings in La Habana are now being renovated by the international community. Such as at the Bacardi building and around the Plaza Vieja. Hotels are also accessible to the internet and helpful with booking trips around the island.
