Mount Etna
Along the trail that will take us up to 2000mt a.s.l., our guide will tell you about how the highest volcano in Europe was born, without leaving the aspects related to flora and fauna that characterize it. After admiring old and new lava flows we will proceed on foot to the inner part of old craters. The charming panorama and the picturesque scenery will give us the feeling of being on the moon. After a short break, the hike will continue with a visit, carrying helmet and torch, inside a lava cave to admire a unique spectacle. Walking through a luxuriant vegetation, we will finally admire the spectacular Valle del Bove.

Our guide is called Leonardo. Person prepared in telling us about Etna, kind and nice. A day spent very well.

Our guide Daphne was very informative about Mt Etna and shared a lot of interesting information about both the volcano as well as about Sicily. We would definitely recommend this tour especially with Daphne. The lava cave visit was very thrilling and one of a kind.

Our guide Emilia has rich knowledge of Etna, especially history of volcano and geology of the volcanic regions. She is kind and helpful. I have some difficulty of walking on the sandy volcano field, she held me in her arm and helped to walked down safely!

The tour was booked by my partner and I must say it was a lovely birthday present for me. I had been to Sicily and remembered the traffic chaos. The guide drove the van very well, and since I was sitting in the third row I didn't feel any discomfort. The view was beautiful and Etna was beautiful. The only negative thing was that an Argentinian girl complained the whole time because she wanted to see the lava inside the cave and didn't even know how to turn on a flashlight. The guide was far too patient with her.

Great small group (7 people) trip to about 2200 meters high on Mount Etna. Had the benefit of our guide, Gabrielle, being well-versed in mountaineering and chemistry. He was informative and helpful throughout.

This was such a great tour! We learned so much about Etna in terms of geology, history, and culture. Daphne was our guide - she's super-knowledgeable, super-organized, and fun and very kind. We highly recommend this tour - it's one of the best we've experienced anywhere.

The last stop at 2000m was the highlight of this trip. We had breathtaking views of Cráter Silvestri and Mount Etna. However, the rest of the experiencie was not what I expected. We entered in to a cave for a few minutes and not the hole team had adequate equipment. For example, my torch was not lighting properly, so I slipped and scratched my hand. Last but not least, when there was time to go back to Catania, the guide left without me (and we were only 8 people in the group). I had to call the company and just then the guide had to come back to pick me up.

We had the chance to discover Mount Etna thanks to this experienced guide, very kind, well organized and very professional. He is also very well equipped and watches with great attention on his small group. He had even planned a small snack at the end of the visit. Recommended.

Daphne was an exceptional tour guide. She explained the history and geophysical aspects of Etna very well. We enjoyed the short hike, cave tour, and scenic drive. Highly recommend.
