Shawn was our driver and guide and from the moment he picked us up from our hotel he made sure we had a great trip. It was a long drive from Windhoek but we had plenty of stops including one for lunch. We stayed at the Etosha Omusati Lodge which was lovely. Nice comfortable little lodges and lovely food especially the lasagne. The visits to the Etosha watering holes were good with plenty of animals - kudus, springbok, impala, giraffe, zebra and elephants. We didn't see any big cats but we were lucky to see a rhino. Shawn did his best to try and spot some lions. We could hear them roaring but could not see them. The elephants were the star of the show. We were lucky to see a group of them bathing in one of the watering holes which was amazing. All in all it was a great trip. I would definitely recommend this trip

This was an outstanding experience. I did this tour as a solo traveller. My guide Shawn did a great job of making me feel welcome and comfortable. The was clean and very comfortable and I learned a bit about namibian life and culture during the car rides. On top of that I saw three of the 4 "big 4" animals in Etosha, along with many other wildlife. Great tour and highly recommended.

Just finished a 3 day tour with Across Africa Tours LLC - our guide was Shawn Kashima - it was brilliant as was Shawn. They managed to accommodate last minute flight delays and still made sure we had a fantastic trip. I would thoroughly recommend Shawn , Across Africa Tours and Viator - in that order

The safari was beautiful in itself. Almost all the animals I saw and the accommodation was also great. The thing I have to complain about is the guide. He was permanently on his phone, told almost nothing and even lay down in the car more often during the safari. There should also be breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. A lunch the guide suddenly says that this is not in the budget and you should consider whether you want to eat that day or the next. I've never seen anything like it.

Not the most affordable of trips, but you do get what you pay for! It was the only trip that would take a solo traveler on a short notice. The tour guide, Shawn, bent over backwards to ensure that I had every need taken care of. He was very active and persuasive in ensuring I got the best experience. The lodge where we stayed in was top-notch

I had an amazing guide with Seven. He ensured we took full advantage on staying on the reserve for 3 days. We got to see all the animals except for leopard! Such a majestic trip!

This was the perfect way to start our vacation in Namibia. We had three extra days in Windhoek before joining another longer tour. One week before our arrival we booked this tour to have extra days of game drives. It ended up being just the two of us and our guide, which meant we had the flexibility to stop and go as we wished. Randy was our guide, and he was very knowledgeable about the wild life. Also, he spotted things we certainly would have missed if we self drove, such as well camouflaged lions and distant elephants. Last, there were several times he encouraged us to stay in one spot because he saw wildlife approaching that were likely to have interesting interactions with already present wild life. I would definitely recommend this tour.

With three extra days in Namibia, I decided to include a quick trip to Etosha. I struggled to find a company that was still operational, and met my needs. Then I chatted with Megan, representative with Across Africa. I quickly knew she was actually interested in helping. Her sincerity, honesty, humanity and dedication were recognized immediately, and I knew that I didn’t need to search further. She set up my trip with no hidden BS, made an effort to meet all my needs, and did all of it promptly, professionally, and graciously. My trip turned out perfectly down to the last detail. I credit Megan and my guide Steve for making my quick visit to Etosha unforgettable. Because of them I will use Across Africa in the future and suggest to others that they do the same!
