This was the absolute highlight of our trip. Our guide, Luis, was so knowledgeable and personable. The stops on the tour were perfectly chosen, and the food was beyond delicious. Cannot recommend this tour enough. Our first stop was at Va Bene for a delicious fresh tomato salad served on burrata. We then stopped at Archibald for some delicious French onion soup. Then it was on to Le Continental for some fabulous flambéd shrimp. The last stop was at Le Clan, a fabulous restaurant that prides itself on using only Quebec or local ingredients- farm to table concept. We had an arctic char that melted in your mouth followed by a their take on a bread pudding type dessert. Every restaurant paired their dish with wine or beer. All in all, this was an excellent experience. We told the owner of the tour company Emilie that we were celebrating my recent retirement and we definitely felt like VIPs on this tour!

Lynn and the entire experience were amazing!! She is a great storyteller and historian, and the food was epic. It was the perfect launch to our Christmas time visit, suggest that if you can, you take this tour in the beginning of your trip so that you can re-visit the places and restaurants that you are introduced to along the way.

This was a fantastic experience. You get a tour of the old city by a local historian, sample some of the finest local cuisine, and meet fellow travelers. Lynn was a fantastic, knowledgeable, and entertaining guide that knows many of the locals throughout the tour. This is a highly recommended tour.

Sam was wonderful. He was well prepared and navigated the city and its long history with ease and confidence. He timed our visits to the many restaurants perfectly. While Sam was working hard to ensure we had a wonderful time, he was delightful to be around. Thank you, Sam!

My husband and I did the Quebec food tour and LOVED it! Nice variety of restaurants, good drinks, solid food and overall a must do experience if you want to eat your way through Old Quebec and see the town on foot. Since it was early in the week before the crowds arrived, we actually ended up with a private tour. Our tour guide Etienne was phenomenal! Educated about the area, great recommendations, very personable and fun to get to know. He made the experience a true highlight of our trip!

I’ve done food tours in many countries and this is one of the best. Make sure not to eat before you go! The portions are ample and the selection of featured dishes is excellent. We had a panzanella salad, French onion soup, shrimp flambé, and in the last restaurant, we had a poultry dish, and delectable bread pudding dessert. All dishes were paired with wine, beer, or a mocktail, if desired. Lynn was our guide and she was excellent. She was fun, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. Lynn clearly has a passion for Quebecois culture and her community. It shows in how she speaks about Quebec. While this is an expensive evening, it was 100% worth every penny. I wish was had done this tour at the beginning of our stay. Now I have to come back!
