Your wonderful trip to Nepal starts upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International airport, Kathmandu. Life Himalaya’s representative will warmly welcome and receive you at the airport and transfer you to your respective hotel with our private vehicle. Check-in at the hotel and relax until we meet. In the evening we will be meeting at head office for a trip briefing and discussion. We will let you know the time of the meeting upon your arrival at the hotel.

We take an early morning flight to the Tenzing Hillary airstrip at Lukla at an elevation of 2810 meters above sea level. Lukla is the main gateway to the Everest trekking region and is a beautiful mountain town. We meet our trekking crew at Lukla and start our walk trek passing through beautiful landscape towards the village of Ghat. After having lunch at Ghat, we take a gentle descent for about one hour to the small village of Phakding on the bank of the Dudh Koshi River. Overnight stay at tea-house at Phakding.

After having an early morning breakfast at the tea house we get ready to start the day. After approximately five hours of walking, we will be arriving at the capital of Sherpa’s- Namche Bazaar. Our spectacular trekking trail passes through several suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River, the typical village of Benkar, Monjo, Jorsale, lush green Rhododendron forest, and Sagarmatha National Park. Once we reach Namche Bazar, we check into a guest house and relax.

We are already at the elevation of 3440 meters. This elevation is high enough for anyone to stay one extra day doing some side excursions for acclimatization purposes. Acclimatizing here is an essential part of the Everest Base Camp trek as we are trekking to a higher altitude in the Himalayas. Today, we hike to a higher elevation towards Everest View Hotel- the highest-altitude-placed Luxury Hotel in the world; to see the close-up views of Mt. Amadablam and panoramic views of the world’s highest mountains including Mt. Everest. After enjoying lunch, we return back to Namche Bazaar for spending our night.

Tengboche Gompa
Our day starts after having breakfast at the tea house. Our destination today is Tengboche, which is about five hours above Namche bazaar. Walking through the beautiful uphill trail, we ascend towards Tengboche village. Tengboche is the magnificent village of the Everest region with a charming spot of close views of the world’s highest mountains as well renowned for the oldest and biggest spiritual Buddhist Tengboche monasteries.

The walk today towards Dingboche is going to be around four to five hours. Our walk continues following the Imja Khola crossing the bridge to reach Orsho- the way to Pheriche and Dingboche separates. Following the Lobuche River, we trek towards Dingboche. Dingboche is a beautiful village situated at an elevation of 4360 meters. On reaching Dingboche village, we check into a guest house and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful mountain atmosphere there.

We are high enough again to have another acclimatization day. Today we stop at Dingboche to ensure proper altitude acclimatization and stay active on a high-altitude trek. Dingboche village provides some side excursions and then we will be hiking towards Nakarjun hill and return back to Dingboche and take a rest. The hiking today will bring us some of the most spectacular sights of the Himalayas from a different angle. Overnight stay at tea-house in Dingboche.

After a rest day at Dingboche, our beautiful trekking day starts with a morning walk with incredible mountain landscapes and spectacular Himalayan views. Our gentle walk-in takes us towards the Thugla- a perfect spot for our lunch. The trek today is taking us even closer to the enchanting Everest base camp. Then our trail joins Thulga pass, with stone memorials of unfortunate climbers who died during climbing Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and other high mountains. After and nice pleasant walk brings towards Lobuche.
Trek Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170 m/ 16,961 ft) & trek to Everest Base camp (5,363 m/ 17,595 ft). (8 km, 5-6 hr)

Everest Base Camp
Today is the most fascinating and adventurous day of our Everest Base Camp Trek. Finally, our long wait is going to be over today. Today’s walk takes us toward our main destination to Everest Base Camp. After walking on the Khumbu glacial path, we reach Gorakshep where we check into a guest house we leave our belongings there and prepare to leave for the Everest base camp. After having lunch, we start our walk towards the world’s highest base camp. We enjoy our base camp moments for a while and make our return journey back to Gorakshep.
Hike to Kala Patthar (5,545 m/ 18,192 ft) and trek to Pheriche (4,280 m/ 14,041 ft). (18 km, 6-7 hr)

We are going to be at the highest elevation of the trip today. Our day starts very early in the morning as we are hiking up to Kalapatthar for the most breathtaking view of Mt. Everest and other mountains in the range and an incredible sunrise over the Himalayas. We hike back down to Gorakshep and have our breakfast. After breakfast, we leave the guest house and start walking downhill toward the beautiful village of Pheriche.

Today we are trekking down to Pangboche and taking a new less crowded route to Phorste village. While passing the trek route you will see different views of Amadablam, Thamserku, and the Tengboche monastery. Today is a beautiful walk on a mostly downhill trail passing the beautiful villages of Pangboche, and the incredible Himalayan landscapes of the Khumbu region. We will be enjoying the natural and cultural wonders of the sherpa village of Phorste.

Today after breaking a fast trek down to the river coming from Gokyo lake, connect the trail to Gokyo at Phorste Thanga3680m after the trek up to Mong Danda. Enjoy every moment of the less crowded route in the Everest region as we pass through the beautiful Namche bazaar trek down to Hilary bridge and reach the Monjo village. landscape, suspension bridges, and the enormous Dudh Koshi River.

After breakfast, you will trek the same route as you went up before, passing the Toktok, Phakding, ghat, Cheeplung 2650m last 200 meters to trek up to Lukla. Your EBC trek walking is finished enjoy the evening at Lukla and celebrate trek’s success.

Today we take an early possible flight towards Kathmandu saying goodbye to the Everest region. Once we reach the hotel and check-in, we will have the rest of the day at leisure. The rest of the day is reserved for you where you may do your personal activities like an exploration of Kathmandu, souvenir shopping or finding some trekkers’ massage or simply wandering around. In the evening, there will be a farewell dinner hosted by Life Himalaya in the typical Nepalese restaurant with a cultural dance to celebrate the successful completion of our journey.

5.00My husband, brother and I did the 15 day EBC trek Nov. 2025 with Life Himalaya Trekking. Raj was our guide, and Suren and Sonam were our porters. The trek far exceeded our expectations. The views were stunning and landscapes changed everyday! The best hike I’ve ever done! It was a trip of a lifetime and we will be coming back to do more trekking in Nepal. Our guide Raj looked after everything! We had great food, accommodation and advice along the way! He shared information about life in the area and the landscape and wildlife that just added depth to our experience. He’s also an expert photographer, our pictures are top notch! And he made sure we got to the great picture spots before the crowds so we have tone of pictures. Start to finish, Raj went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after and to make this hike an enjoyable and memorable experience! Our porters Suren and Sonam were also amazing, we could not have done this without them! They worked so hard everyday and did it with a smile. They brought the laughs and good vibes to our group, and we enjoyed getting to know them. I highly recommend using Life Himalaya, when we return we will be! And will also be requesting to have the same team join us.

5.00My wife and I did the ABC trek & the EBC trek followed by Gokyo, Chola pass & Renjo la pass in November. We do not hesitate to recommend Life Himalaya trekking. Mr Shiba was incredibly efficient, professional, responsive & helpful in creating and massaging our trip plans. Our guides were outstanding (thanks Kiran & Binnie !) & they made suggestions to modify our itinerary once they had a feel for our abilities ie. we added the Renjo la pass which was spectacular. Sundesh & Nishan were a great help as💪🏽 well. We are usually easy clients but we had some last minute requests & changes. The company was very patient & reacted quickly to solve all issues. We loved the fact that this Nepalese company was built from scratch by Shiba who started as a porter, then guide. His employees are very loyal & it is clear that he runs the company with everyone's best interests in mind. Shiba also gives back to his communities with many social programs, he has built a school, helps his employees & plants trees for each client he serves. He is also committed to garbage reduction on the treks. These guys will take care of you and go above and beyond to give you an unforgettable experience. 100 % !! Namaste !

5.00We were a group of 3 from Germany who booked the Everest base camp trek with Life Himalayan Trekking. It was a remarkable experience! Trekking to Everest Base Camp was very tough but so rewarding: the views and the people along the way truly make the trip the most memorable. Shiba and his team are awesome. They are professional and friendly, looked after us and helped us throughout the trip right from the planning stage. Our guide Pramod was a wealth of knowledge and encouragement. He is a true ambassador of the Khumbu region. We didn't just walk past mountains; we learned their names, local legends, and the history of climbing. His connection to the Sherpa community and his effortless interaction with teahouse owners and locals provided an incredibly rich cultural experience. He always made sure we were safe, comfortable and warm enough at night. Our two porters Adhiraj and Bhimraj were hardworking and cheerful. We couldn't recommend them highly enough. If we are going for another trek in Nepal we would definitley book it with the same team. Overall, we had the experience of a lifetime which wouldn't have been possible without the expert help and guidance by the Life Himalayan Trekking team.

5.00We did an amazing trek with Life Himalaya to EBC through Gokyo lakes in March 2025. Working on planning this trip with Shiba was a very pleasant experience. He accommodated all of our requests and made us feel very comfortable. Birsha and Sagar were main guides. They made sure we were safe and taken care of every step of the way. Sagar’s positive outlook and attitude towards trekking was contagious. We came back with tons of awesome pictures (thanks to sagar)and memories. Thanks to the entire team of guides and porters who helped us throughout. I highly recommend them if anyone planning trekking in this area. They are the BEST! Can’t wait to go again!

5.00Absolutely amazing trek and service provided by Life Himalaya team. Could not ask for more. At each step the guides Jal, Ravin, Ganesh, Vijay and Teeras were amazing. They went over and above to help each and every one of us. The lead tour guide Sagar , definitely has a very good personal way to appeal to all the people. He showed amazing leadership qualities and pretty much would appear from nowhere to troubleshoot any issues on the way. Check out for all their dancing and singing skills. Definitely, made the trek super amazing and easy to do. Shiba and Raj went over and above to accommodate all requests and provide the necessary information and equipment. The hospitality of the team was amazing. Would be booking with them again in near future. Thank you all for the amazing work.
