What To Expect

Antigua

We will begin this marvelous day by picking you up at the lobby of your hotel in Antigua Guatemala. The ride to the entrance to the National Park Pacaya Volcano will take around 1 hour. Sit back, enjoy the beautiful scenery and get ready for our climbing experience.

Parque Nacional Volcan De Pacaya

We will arrive early at the volcano. We will start our climbing adventure from the base where we will see the map indicating the route we will take. This ascent takes only an hour or an hour and a half depending on the pace of our walk. During the entire route and especially when we reach the summit you will appreciate landscapes that will take your breath away. Experience an adventure like no other and come with us to enjoy climbing an active volcano. Our local guide will be happy to tell you the history of the volcano, and curious facts, and will accompany you at all times so that you enjoy every step of the way.

Activities itself were nice but the driver did not speak English (which we had booked an English tour) so it was very hard to communicate about what was going on and the company itself did not provide us a way of communicating like other tour companies did. Definitely recommend the volcano and the hot springs but maybe go with different guides.
