  The crew were very friendly, dedicated and helpful — in terms of service, there is absolutely nothing to complain about. However, the dolphins were practically being chased, together with 18 (!) other boats. This made the situation very chaotic and stressful, not only for us “poor tourists” but especially for the animals. At some point, my husband and I stopped jumping into the water because it simply felt pointless and we could no longer reconcile it with our conscience. By the end of the trip, we certainly were not filled with pride. The other tourists who participated seemed mainly focused on getting photos, which they posted to their Instagram stories or wherever else the whole time. Nobody seemed to have the animals’ well-being in mind. Apparently, no one understood what they were doing or where they actually have been. The whole time they stared at their phones and didn’t notice anything what happens around them. Simply shameful. I did something similar in New Zealand a few years ago and was apparently still naive enough to expect it would be run in a similar way. In New Zealand, there was a comprehensive briefing beforehand and clear rules were established. Here, there was not even the slightest mention of measures to protect the dolphins or the people. For us, it was a waste of time and money. However, everyone else visibly seemed to enjoy it very much. So if animal welfare is not important to you, then you can do this. I also believe it doesn’t matter which provider you book with — as mentioned, there were 18 other boats present.

  We had an amazing morning swimming with dolphins. We were lucky enough to see and swim with them on multiple occasions, which was truly unforgettable. The team were very helpful, polite, and professional, guiding us perfectly and letting us know the best moments to jump into the water. The boat was clean and not overcrowded, especially compared to others around us, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The service from booking to end was completely seamless, and we were even called afterwards to check that everything went well, which was a really nice touch. Importantly, the team showed great respect for the dolphins! Overall, an incredible and unforgettable experience that we would highly recommend.

  Felciano, the owner’s son, looked after us very well. A few days before the boat trip, he WhatsApp messaged me to ask what car we would be arriving at the beach in, to ensure he knew to approach us and guide us to the boat. He did this seamlessly when we arrived and introduced us to the two man crew of our boat for the morning, who warmly welcomed us onboard. The dolphin experience was magical. It was a very physical morning getting on and off the boat continually, trying to follow and get ahead of the school of dolphins, but absolutely worth it once we had timed it right. At one point I was flipping my flippers, swimming alongside them within arms reach! Thanks for an amazing morning!!

  Amazing experience, staff are so helpful with clear instructions for the day. Everyone gets the chance to go in the water with the dolphins in small groups with a guide, making it easy to spot them and swim alongside. We even went snorkeling afterwards at a reef and saw lots of fish. Perfect day

  Unfortunately there were too many boats because tours had to be cancelled beforehand due to the weather. It was therefore very hectic and there were a lot of people in the water. But we were able to see the dolphins.

  What a fabulous day out with Alex & Chinese, great views of this adorable island from the sea. 2 great spots for snorkelling, Alex treated us to 2 great Dolphin experiences and a visit to the small island for shopping. Chinese does a fantastic bbq lunch and drinks are supplied all day. Just to mention to anyone worried about safety, Alex is great and makes sure that everyone is well aware of safety… Tips Take spare clothing as you will get wet.
