5.00This was a great day with Helvig! She reached out right after booking and we communicated some alternate sites we would like to visit. She is an island native and provided us with amazing information and history about the island, in addition to taking us to beautiful beaches, the salt flats with a few flamingos, a brief visit to the north shore and back in plenty of time to still walk around town for awhile. 5.00We didn’t know what to do when we got to Curacao, we just knew we didn’t wanna wonder around aimlessly. I found Helvig through Viator and am so thankful I did. She showed us so much of the island and was a wealth of information. You can tell she loves giving tours and teaching people about the island she grew up on. Highly recommend to anyone who’s never been to Curacao before!

5.00Helvig was an amazing guide. We wanted to see the culture of the island along with beaches. We were traveling with kids. Helvig has lived on the island all her life. She provided us with so much history. She took us to Grote Knop beach. It was breath taking! People were cliff jumping, the water was crystal clear, in addition, she took us to Playa Piskado to swim with turtles. She watched our stuff while we swam. She gave us great advice for souvenir shopping as well. Helvig will let you do what you want but most important she is a safe, reliable transport service. Excellent driver with a very nice clean SUV. Also, so easy to talk to about anything. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a private tour.

5.00This was SO much better than traveling in a group on a bus! It was like being shown around by a good friend. Not only did we get to see parts of the island and parks that are not accessible by buses, we had interesting conversations about the island itself…history, politics, economy. It did not feel like we were with a used car sales man or a tour guide tying to hers to certain “tourist “ spots. The ride was comfortable with food a/c. The tour was catered to destinations we were interested in with suggestions thrown in to tweak for a perfect itinerary. Four hours is about the minimum amount of time you would like to book for and 5-6 would be ideal if you want to rest at a beach for a time or see the caves.

5.00We had an amazing day. Our driver was so sweet and accommodating to our needs and took us to some of the best places on the island. She was 4th generation local and shared great insights about the island. Views, beaches, snorkeling, the city, and Curacoa distillerie. I highly recommend.

5.00Helvig was an amazing tour guide! My husband and I booked this tour during our visit to Curacao in February and would wholeheartedly recommend it to any couples or families visiting the island. Helvig provided an excellent, thorough, historically-detailed, and personalized tour of the island. Her vehicle was extremely comfortable and brand new, also! Helvig was really accommodating and willing to adjust according to what we wanted to see and the unpredictable weather! We saw everything we wanted and learned so much about Curacao. 5.00Our family of 5 did a private tour with Helvig; I reached out to her with a list of places we wanted to see and she customized a tour for us. Her communication with us prior to the tour was wonderful. She was very personable and knowledgable; her vehicle was comfortable, clean and in perfect shape. We felt safe with her driving. She gave us so much information about Curaçao and it's history. We never felt rushed at any of our stops. I'm so happy we booked with her, we had an amazing time.
