Afterwards, enjoy a cinematic photoshoot at Diamond Beach and the Glacier Lagoon, capturing the contrast between volcanic black sand and glistening ice. Then, board a Zodiac boat for a thrilling ride among towering icebergs drifting through the lagoon.

What To Expect
Private Glacier Hike with Photography Package included! Upon arrival at the glacier parking lot, your guide will provide you with essential gear, including: ✔️ Crampons ✔️ Ice Axe ✔️ Harness ✔️ Helmet with a Headlamp ✔️ Hiking Boots (if rented) We’ll then embark on a 30-minute scenic hike to the glacier's edge. The terrain is mostly flat with slight rocky sections, making it accessible for most fitness levels. Our pace will always match the comfort of our guests. Once on the ice, you’ll get a feel for walking with crampons as we ascend Breiðamerkurjökull Glacier. Your guide will lead you through stunning crystal-blue ice formations, deep moulins, and other mesmerizing glacial features. The surreal landscape will make you feel as though you've stepped onto another planet.

5.00Elias provided us with many anecdotes and information on the wonderful tour over the glacier and into the caves. We laughed a lot, drank glacial water, were even allowed to climb a little further into the caves and had enough time to take pictures! A perfect tour that has created memories for life! 5.00Our family trip to Iceland had an unexpected knee injury just before our tour. We had booked a glacier hike with Jessie at Ice Pick Adventures, which suddenly became impossible. We were so worried, but Jessie was an absolute superstar. On extremely short notice, she completely redesigned our entire day to be accessible for my sister, yet just as adventurous and breathtaking as we had hoped. Her flexibility was incredible. She took us to these stunning, secluded spots we never would have found on our own, sharing her deep knowledge of Iceland's history and nature along the way. Jessie's energy was infectious, and her thoughtfulness about my sister's comfort meant the world to us. On top of being a phenomenal guide, she is a truly talented photographer! She knew all the best spots and angles to capture the landscape and our family's joy. Thanks to Jessie, what could have been a disappointment turned into the most memorable day of our trip. We honestly cannot recommend her and Ice Pick Adventures enough!

He not only explained the history and formation process of the Blue Ice Cave in a simple and easy-to-understand manner, but also used professional cameras to capture this breathtaking moment for each tourist. His professional attitude and patience were impressive, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the wonders of the Blue Ice Cave, and the photos he skillfully captured have become precious memories of this journey.
