What To Expect
Golden Horn
This beautiful strait, sometimes spelled Bosporus and sometimes Bosphorus, was so called from the earliest ages by the ancients; from the mythology of 10, the mistress of Jupiter, having passed over it in the shape of a cow. It resembles the Dardanelles, in length, breadth, and current, and like it, is a narrow separation that divides Europe from Asia; but it has many features familiar to itself. Instead of being a solitary stream running between deserted shores, it is a body of water full of life and animation, winding its way through banks covered with palaces and villages, shaded with magnificent forest trees, presenting to the eye, at every mile, a new scene of crowded existence.
Galata Tower
The Galata Tower — called Christea Turris by the Genoese — is a medieval stone tower in the Galata/Karaköy quarter of Istanbul, Turkey, just to the north of the Golden Horn's junction with the Bosphorus.

5.00We went on a wonderful yacht trip. The yacht's captain was very kind and fun. We played our favorite songs using the sound system on the yacht and danced. The view of the Istanbul Bosphorus is magnificent. You can see all the historical and important buildings.

5.00We were picked up and taken to the dock where we boarded the boat. We started off on the European side. Views were so great. Everything looked so different at night and there was so much to look at. Surcan who welcomed us aboard was very friendly and sat with us and was explaining everything we saw. It was extremely interesting sine we had never been to Turkey. We were served water and tea. Coffee was also svailable. Crew was very pleasant and friendly. We loved it.

It was very enjoyable to travel with the unique views of the Bosphorus. The staff were extremely professional and welcoming. The snacks and drinks served were of very high quality. This tour is one of the must-do activities in Istanbul.
