5.00This experience was absolutely worth attending. The hostess, Vassiliki, was knowledgeable and charming- as well as the other team members that were passing through. The tasting experience was unique and just the right amount of time to take a break from running around town. The shop had a nice selection of products outside of consumable olive oil (I purchased a body oil!) Definitely recommend!

5.00Vassiliki delivered a delightful and informative explanation of olive trees and oils. A few in our group were less than enthusiastic but ended up thoroughly enjoying their experience. She was knowledgeable and had great energy and humor. We learned so much about the olive tree, the production of oils, and the nuances of the oils and their health benefits. Small plates were paired with the oils and a glass of wine was served. The tasting room is upstairs at the small retail store and is very modern and comfortable. Highly recommend!

5.00My daughter and I absolutely loved this unique experience. We were warmly welcomed, and the setting was beautiful in decor and clean. The expert was enthusiastic, warm and knowledgeable and guided us through the tasting of two olive oils, before then going on to pair them with different savoury & sweet dishes. It really was fantastic to experience the different flavour profiles enhanced by the food (& glass of wine!). The tasting was completed with a lovely olive body oil sample which smelt beautiful. There was no pressure to buy, although we will do on return to the UK as it was such a top quality product. Highly recommend and excellent value for a memorable experience!

5.00George was delightful. We arrived earlier than our reservation and ended up having a private tour. After learning so much more about olive oil, I feel like an expert. George not only taught us about oil but we enjoyed his mother’s home made yogurt and spice blend. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who uses it hasn’t used EVOO.

My husband and I along with our close friends, were on a once-in-a-lifetime vacation when we found ourselves with the immense pleasure of visiting The Olive House by "The Governor" in Corfu. To be honest, my husband wasn't particularly looking forward to a tour about olive oil, but our friends had booked it, and we decided to go along. It turned out to be an absolute highlight of our trip! From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of exceptional, and we owe so much of that to our incredible "guide," George. Before this tour, we had no idea just how complex and delicious olive oil could be...especially when added to different foods. We not only learned to appreciate the nuances of multiple types of olive oils but also gained a profound understanding of the deep-rooted importance of olives to the people and culture of Corfu. It was fascinating to hear the stories and learn about the traditions connected to this ancient crop. George was an absolute delight! His passion for olives and Corfu was infectious, and he presented everything in such an engaging and captivating way. He answered all our questions with enthusiasm and humor, making the entire experience both educational and incredibly fun. He truly felt like a friend sharing his knowledge with us.
