Zugspitze

We drive directly on the Autobahn from Munich to the Zugspitze. Using the newly built cable car, we will make our way to the peak of Germany for a full three-hour tour of the peak, the glacier, and the facilities. As a delightful highlight, we will also visit the highest beer garden in the country, perched atop Zugspitze. Here, you can relax and savor a refreshing beer while soaking in the unparalleled panoramic views of the surrounding majestic mountains. Our private tour to Zugspitze was everything my husband and I expected. Our guide, Tom, picked us up at our hotel in Munich and transported us to the mountain. Once there, he left us for three hours to have time to ourselves to explore the mountaintop, glacier area, and have lunch. Afterward, we walked to the beautiful blue/green lake below. Next, we were off to leisurely explore the village of Garmisch. He also took us to the 1936 Winter Olympics Stadium. Tom was very friendly and informative during the tour. We highly recommend this tour and Tom as a guide.

The view at the top was amazing!! Our guide Lauro was so friendly and really catered everything perfectly to what we wanted to do! We got to really experience old bavaria on top of the tour and felt comfortable the entire time. Really seemless experience and a fun time! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to really see the real bavaria!

Zugspitze is impossible to describe. It is incredibly beautiful and expansive. Photos just don't come close to capturing the incredible views. It's magical! Our guide, Lauro made the trip even better, he is a great guide!
