What To Expect
The Jubilee Whales season has already begun, and with it the privilege is to be able to observe one of the world's largest cetaceans from close. From June to August, these impressive marine mammals leave Antarctica and pass by the coast of Rio de Janeiro, more precisely near the Ihas Cagarras archipelago, in search of warmer waters. Velas Do Rio invites you to this unforgettable experience aboard the modern and comfortable catamaran with service All inclusive and biologist aboard. We leave early in the morning to enjoy the ideal conditions for sightseeing with smooth sea and little wind. After leaving the Marina, we will sail towards the Natural Monument of the Cagarras Islands, the MONA Cagarras, a protected sanctuary of marine life on the coast of Rio de Janeiro to observe the whales. We will sail around these amazing islands for approximately 2.5 hours
