Drua is not only incredibly knowledgeable about fruits – where they come from, how they’re imported, how they grow – but he also blew our minds with deep insights into the history and development of South America. We’ve been traveling for seven and a half years, and still, he taught us things we had never heard before: where rivers originate, how cultures emerged, and where today’s conflicts have their roots. It was truly mindblowing. It was a bit challenging for our kids to follow everything – but once the fruit tasting began, they were totally hooked and fully on board. If you ever get the chance to book this tour: go for it. It’s worth every single cent. We’re even thinking about booking it again – that’s how much knowledge Drua shared with us.
