5.00Vince was absolutely wonderful ! he carries a wealth of knowledge. this tour is exactly what i needed to better understand my roots. he’s relationship with the community in evident and throughout the experience his number one priority is to make sure you are comfortable, so you can enjoy the tour. he continuously checks in to ensure you do not have any questions, so you are not listening to him or others speak the entire time. i enjoyed the mini pop quizzes he would give me to ensure i was paying attention lol! the food place we went to was absolutely delicious. that jollof was 10/10! i would definitely book other experiences with him. thank you so much, Vince!

5.00Vince gave us a passionate and understandable insight into the contemporary Ghanaian scene way beyond what you'd normally expect from a guide showing a city's major attractions. He was responsive and flexible during the booking process and throughout the day providing a bespoke experience for a party ranging in age from 17 to mid sixties, some of whom were born in Ghana and others who had never visited before - there was something in it for everyone. A shout out for Roots restaurant which was a stop on the tour and the best food I experienced on our trip. And for our driver who dealt well with the difficult roads. Time flew by and we greatly enjoyed Vince's company - I would not hesitate to book a tour with Vince again.

5.00This tour is a must! We did this tour as soon as we got to Ghana and it was a great way to see some of the most important sites in Accra. Vince was an amazing tour guide. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Ghana and the unfortunate history of slavery. He was fun and welcoming and really made this an enjoyable experience for us. You have to do this tour when you come to Accra.

5.00We chose this tour because of the great reviews and the flexibility (we needed an afternoon start). We absolutely made the right choice as Vince was a fantastic guide. He used the time between sights to give us an excellent overview of Ghanaian history and culture. At the stops, which were all interesting, we generally had a guide from that sight, so we were privileged to have lots of different perspectives. Transport was comfortable and Vince had some cold water ready for us when we needed it. Do choose Vince and Mood of Hope Tours for a great experience.

5.00If you’re looking to experience Accra in a day, look no further! From pickup to drop off, Vince will be an informative and inspiring guide with incredible insights on life in Ghana and how that manifests in the capital city of Accra. The transport around the city was comfortable and air conditioned - a nice relief from the warm weather outside. Each stop was carefully selected to tell a story about the Ghana of today. There were guides at the individual museums to give a broad overview of the sites, but Vince’s additions made everything come to life in the current context. The market stop was also assisted by one of the merchant chiefs who escorted us through the many stalls and prevented some of the typical overwhelming tourist experiences. And of course, the shopping was fantastic. Lunch was traditional Ghanaian food (delicious) accompanied by excellent conversation. Vince was eager to share more about his experience as a Ghanaian, and I felt truly welcomed to the country. I would highly recommend him for any trips around Ghana, and I can’t wait to go back for my next visit some day soon!

5.00AMAZING. This tour is a must WHEN you come to Ghana 😉 The host Vince went above and beyond. He was knowledgeable, accommodating, kind, well organized and very professional! We loved all of the sights he took us too and the history we learned and got to see. We were also grateful for the private vehicle and the included lunch at Roots restaurant was so delicious!!
