This tour was a highlight of our time in Antigua. Just minutes from town, the farm offers an immersive, hands-on experience in truly sustainable, organic agriculture. We roasted, ground, and brewed our own exceptional Guatemalan coffee while learning the full fermentation and drying process—fascinating from start to finish. Walking through the avocado farm and making fresh guacamole and corn tortillas was unforgettable, and the honey demonstration gave us a new appreciation for the essential role bees play in our food system. Seeing composting, fertilizing, and recycling principles in action made sustainable farming feel both practical and inspiring. Maykol’s passion, knowledge, and fluency in both English and Spanish made the entire experience engaging, educational, and personal. A delicious, thoughtful, and truly enriching tour I highly recommend.

The tour was outstanding. Maykol shows his true passion for preserving the land, and sharing skills, while living his dream of being a father and husband. Learning how coffee is produced, and being a part of the process was fabulous. Coffee, Avocado, and Honey tour was outstanding and certainly worth the cost.

This was the highlight of our time in Antigua! Maykol’s farm is amazing, and going through the entire process of making our own coffee was so rewarding. We learned so much. The honey and avocados from the farm were DELICIOUS! Even better, he now has a beautiful air bnb on the property with an insane view from the upstairs. Highly recommend this tour and the home to anyone traveling to Antigua!

An incredible experience. Michael was passionate about his work and his family and his land. There is so much love that has gone into this farm and sharing knowledge with tourists. My friend and I learned a great deal about the coffee growing, harvesting, and processing system, and beforehand we shamefully knew very little. Making tortillas and guacamole was also a joy, though I was horrible at handling the dough (it’s easy, I’m just clumsy)! You can absolutely taste the difference in the avocados grown here versus back home in US grocery stores. I’m not sure how I can ever go back. 10/10 visit, I will spread the news to everyone to visit the Little Green Farm. Thank you for a lovely experience!!

We had a large group of friends take this tour and we had such a wonderful time! Michael was so great and really made this experience a wonderful time. We learned so much and it was great to see how everything worked, and how he made his family land a thriving farm and experience.

This was my favorite tour in Antigua. I loved getting to learn about the process of harvesting and preparing coffee. Michael was a great teacher and provided a very hands on experience of harvesting, preparing, and roasting our own coffee. We also got to see how he creates a sustainable ecosystem for his avocado trees through composting and providing a safe environment for pollinators and beneficial predators. The farm is beautiful and I loved how his family history is incorporated into the farm. You can tell they have worked hard to create this beautiful and sustainable environment and educational experience. I also appreciated their commitment to helping their local community. I highly recommend this tour.

Amazing experience learning about the coffee process all the way from picking the raw fruit off the tree to roasting and drinking the coffee. Added bonus was the hand made avocado and tortillas experience. Would highly recommend if you are in Antigua.
