If you are in Guatemala, make time to visit The Little Green Farm! It is a hands-on, one-of-a-kind experience. Our group of friends was able to taste coffee beans straight from the tree, fresh organic avocados, and handmade tortillas while learning how they grow. The knowledge they have and how they teach about the earth and what it gives is an outstanding experience. The property is beautiful, clean and peaceful! It has been one of the most beautiful places in the world!

This was a top experience in Antigua for sure. The tour was extremely informative and it was a great experience to see the way coffee is made from beginning to end. Michael was extremely helpful, curious, and went out of his way to make sure we felt welcome at his farm and got to experience everything it offered. This was such a unique way to experience a part of life in Antigua outside of the busy city center.

Michael picked us up from the meeting spot and drove us a short distance to his family farm. We learned about the coffee process and were able to roast, grind and brew a cup for ourselves. The tour also included a tutorial on tortilla making and we enjoyed fresh avocado on homemade tortillas. He gave us a tour of his 2 acre family farm and shared how he sustainably farms, educating us on ways to properly make your own fertilizer and how to attract good insects for pollination. Truly a unique and educational experience! As an amateur gardener and coffee lover, I highly recommend this tour! And for a bonus, there was a sweet golden retriever named Gunner as well as a fun few cats who make the tour even better.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience! The entire tour was thoughtfully put together and incredibly enriching. We got to see the full process of how coffee is made—from bean to cup—which was fascinating. We also made our own tortillas and guacamole, and learned a lot about sustainable living. One of the unexpected highlights was tasting some of the best honey I’ve ever had—so pure and delicious! Maykol was an outstanding host—warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what he does. His energy made the whole experience even more special. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for an authentic, hands-on experience.
