5.00Dinner at La Tela Italian restaurant in Seabrook Island, SC, was outstanding from beginning to end. The roasted beet salad is served with large slices of fresh beet on a bed of arugula with slices of dry apricot, slivers of goat cheese and pistaccio nuts in a delicious dressing. The pizza, one of Gorgonzola with caramelized red onions, and pancetta and the other with prosciutto, arugula, and mozzarella raised the basic pizza understanding to a level of sophistication and great taste. For dessert, the peach ice-cream mixed with pralines was exquisite. Our waiter was not only ex[erienced and efficient but friendly and welcoming. We ate in the outdoor area which is encircled by bushes and shruberry, with a fountain in the middle surrounded by beautiful greenery and cooled by strategically placed fans, a beautiful place to enjoy the oudoors. We highly recommend La Tela!
