Meet the boat crew at Star Travel office in the walking street near Pattaya Beach on Koh Lipe 30 minutes before scheduled departure. Your English speaking guide will give you helpful snorkeling and safety instructions.

3.00A rough day at sea. Enjoyed the snorkeling and saw some nice fish. A heads up about the monkeys at the lunch spot would have been nice. The monkeys are aggressive and tried to steel my lunch by jumping on me. I saw a poor fellow lose his lunch after my encounter. A word to the wise, stay away from the tree line when eating. I wish there was more interaction with the guide. It would have been nice to learn something about the National Park and the stops we visited.

5.00Ko Lipe is an absolutely heavenly island. The sea is turquoise and clear. It is located in the middle of the Tarutao National Park which offers magnificent snorkelling spots. Unfortunately, there is a lot of plastic on the beaches. But whose fault is it...

4.00Stunning island but it’s a bit of a zoo!!! There are some wonderful hotels and restaurants serving very good food and there is ‘Walking Street’ for all of your needs. I was lucky to meet some other travelers who suggested some quieter places, if I hadn’t have found these, it would have been disastrous… think Newquay on Speed! Also, the longtail boats are constant, on the main Pattaya beach, so you feel like you’re on a set for a Vietnam war film!
