Bedazzled by the annual Malta International Fireworks Festival which is being held over one week this year. Experience impressive firework displays on the 20th, 25th April 2026 with the grande finale being held at the Grand Harbour in Valletta on the 30th April 2026 Experience this event from the unique and comfortable position of a boat.
To take you on this impressive journey our catamaran will depart from Bugibba (or Sliema) to the Grand harbour passing the beautifully lit up bustling towns of St Julians and Sliema along the way. We will enter the natural harbour of Valletta with its enormous 15th-century walls towering high into the sky.
From this unique vantage point, you will witness the international fireworks show from the comfort of the boat. Fireworks will be synchronised to live vocals and musical orchestra, which will perform music written for the occasion from a floating stage in Malta’s majestic Grand Harbour, Valletta.

Great fireworks experience

5.00A great way to see the fireworks. Where the boat moored just inside the harbour with Rinella Bay to our left gave an uninterrupted view of the displays and a superb position for the explosions to echo off the cliffs behind us. Make sure you take warm clothes; it does get chilly and damp and if the wind is blowing you will get cold very quickly.

1.00The fireworks were great however that’s the only thing that was. We turn up at 5.30pm as requested, no staff there, we were supposed to be leaving at 6pm we didn’t actually leave until 6.45. We arrived in Valleta at approximately 8pm, there was supposed to be a drone show that didn’t happen. At about 9.15pm a few fireworks set off but then stopped. We sat there absolutely freezing for about and half an hour and eventually the fireworks started back up, however by then most of us were past caring. We were supposed be back at 11 pm but we didn’t get back until 1.30 am. There were hundreds of people on our boat with only 3 loos and they were overflowing within an hour of setting off. The fireworks when they eventually started were good but the rest of the experience was awful. My recommendation is go to the event on land and at least if you’re not happy you can leave.

1.00Cruise canceled 10 hours before by the organizer without any reason and without having contractually reserved this possibility. I could only see the fires (badly) from the mainland. Now I'm just waiting to be refunded what I paid Evaluate the operator's reliability
