  Mr. Don is kind spirited guide with very professional knowledge of the subject. He accomodated our requirements as we traveled with 6years old and the tour went extremely well for the duration. Once the tour ened- we received well wishes, which our son took so well and called the guide- as the best! Recommended!

  Mr. Don Nuwan was a great guide for us at the Polonnaruwa Ancient City Ruins! He is very thorough, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his job. He took us around more places than other guides and spent more time explaining to us the history of the place, answering questions etc. He also spoke good English. I would strongly recommend him!

  Don Nuwan was very informative and helpful. We were picked up on time by tuk-tuk and accompanied round the site, including an introductory tour of the museum. Well paced and worthwhile visit.

  Nuwan is simply an outstanding guide. His knowledge is amazing. He was invaluable on our stunning visit to the Ancient City of Polonnaruwa and it was a delight to be in his company. He gave us the most incredible tour of Polonnaruwa. The history of this beautiful country and her peoples is extraordinary. Sri Lanka is a very special country.   We did a tour of Polunnaruwa with Don Nuwan at the end of last week. What a fantastic experience. It is a wonderful place to see and our tour was totally enhanced by this guide. He is so passionate about his subject and very knowledgeable. He was flexible and understood our requirements. He is also very clear with his explanations. He managed to put up with my husband’s frequent unusual questions and my limited attention span very well. Thoroughly recommended.

  Unbeatable experience together with Nuwan. We did the bike tour, it was interesting and fun. She loves her work and conveys everything there is to know. The city is impressive, definitely a highly recommended experience in Sri Lanka and certainly Nuwan makes it unforgettable. I would repeat 100%.

  We (Australian family with children aged 20 and 16) did a tour of Polonnaruwa with Don Nuwan a couple of weeks ago. He was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the area. He has studied the history of the area so comes from a point of great expertise but delivers it in a way that is not overwhelming to people with no prior knowledge. He took us to the museum first which provided a good overview of the ancient city and helped us appreciate how all the pieces came together. We spent about 4 hours with him which was great, enough time for lots of questions which Nuwan answered with patience. His English is excellent. Very highly recommended.

  Nuwan is a very knowledgeable guide who is very generous with both his time and knowledge. We asked a lot of questions of him, about the aqueducts as well as why the ruins were built in particular ways, and he was both patient and good at explaining things in different ways. We were a family with two teenage sons and he was able to connect with each of us. Highly recommend!
