Cueva azul had to be cancelled due to flooding and rain. We were offered the night time bat cave experience. It was amazing. Alberto is a passionate and enthusiastic guide. Will be coming back for Cueva Azul

We had an idea of what we were in store for, but we knew the minute Albert picked us up it was going to be a great day. He was one of the most knowledgeable people I’ve ever met. You could tell he loved his job and loved sharing his knowledge. He went above and beyond to make everyone happy and have fun. There were multiple things he did with us that he didn’t necessarily have to do, but wanted everyone comfortable. If I’m back in Puerto Rico and go to Arenales/Charco Azul again, I would 100000% want Albert showing me around.

Fantastic experience! Rafa (Rafael) was an excellent tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. He was attentive to everyone in our group from the 8 year old to the 65 year old. This is the best way to explore Cueva Arenales and Charco Azul. We would have missed out on so much had we not gone with Rafa (and Naturhabitat). He knows the area very well. This is a must see excursion of Puerto Rico. We have been in caves before, and these were the most impressive.

I highly recommend this opportunity to explore a stunningly beautiful remote area with Naturhabitat. Albert was our local expert and guide, and he made our day so special by paying attention to our needs and interests. The caves and cavern were about a 40 minute drive from San Juan and he provided all the transportation with hotel pick up and drop off, making it very convenient. The views were breathtaking and we learned a lot about local plants and creatures. I have been caving in the past, but never like this! Albert showed us petroglyphs, biological items of interest, and told us stories about the area. He also provided all of the equipment needed, including knee pads. Those came in very handy (and are something that I would not have thought to bring) because there was a lot of walking and climbing on slippery ground and rocks. Small personal touches like Limber treats, a well-timed snack, and a coffee stop made us feel like family (and royalty!) We picked a spot for lunch and ended the tour at a gorgeous beach to soak in some final vistas and fresh air. Naturhabitat is a top-notch organization that cares about conservation and education. Albert's kindness and expertise cultivated memories that are unforgettable!

Albert was the best, and so was this tour! He will call you familia andctreat you like familia. This tour is amazing, you get to hike, float, and swim through several different cave areas. Albert is very knowledgeable about the caves, has been visiting charco azul since he was 17 years old, and he is passionate about the flora, fauna, and environment. He can tell you about the bats, the lizards, the leaves, even millipedes, you name it. He will care for you and bring you water and a small snack which is good because he will also wear you out! Some parts of navigating the rivers and caves are a bit arduous but also you know that means it is an exceptional once in a lifetime experience that not everyone gets to experience. He will take you to a delicious place to eat, show you a lovely beach, and you will end up with adventure memories snoozing onnthe ride back because you had a full day of adventure. The timbers (like italian ice but homemade) at the departure point are not to be missed. Super refreshing after the hiking and swimming. He will take photos of/for you and send them to you. We even saw a petroglyph or two. Cannot recommend these beautiful sites or Albert as a guide enough. He really went above and beyond. If you can handle some moderate hiking and climbing do not hesitate to book this! And if you have ANY questions just reach out, he would be happy to answer and accommodate you. Thank you so much Albert, it really was a highlight of our trip!

Albert was an amazing guide for my wife and I in the various caves and canyon throughout Vega Baja! He is extremely knowledgeable about the flora/fauna and history of the area - all of which he personalized and shared with us from start to finish of our trip with him. He also went out of his way to make sure we had water, snacks, and took tons of photos/videos for my wife and I throughout our exploration journey. Albert is super sweet and would highly recommend this as a must-do experience while in Puerto Rico!

This was an amazing tour! Rafa, our tour guide, is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and you can see how much he loves what he does. We swam through the caves and the canyon, climbed some rocks, and learned about the endemic species of plants and animals. Rafa took pictures of everything to share with us later. We had a great time and will definitely do more tours with NaturHabitate in the future.

Went with a group of 5 and we ended up on a tour with just us! The caves were so great to explore and our guide Enrique was amazing. One of us was a bit nervous with the jumps and he helped her through it. There's a part of the caves with bats which was also cool to explore. I've never done an experience like this before and I'd definitely do it again with this company!
