Boulders Beach Penguin Colony
Boulders Beach near Simon’s Town has a lot going for it: the ancient granite boulders protect it from the wind and large waves, making it an ideal swimming spot. The beach is always clean and safe, because it falls under the Table Mountain National Park Marine Protected Area. It is rarely crowded, and you will be delighted by the stunning rockpools. But the soft white sand and warm(ish) waters are not the only reasons why 60 000 visitors a year make their way along the coast, past Simon’s Town, to Boulders Beach. The local inhabitants—African penguins in their thousands—know how to pull the crowds.
Cape Point Nature Reserve
Lunch at Two Oceans Restaurant After closing in February 2021, the iconic Two Oceans Restaurant at Cape Point has re-opened under new management and opened its doors and panoramic views for visitors. The Two Oceans Restaurant occupies an enviable position above False Bay at the southwestern tip of Africa. With only an hour’s scenic drive from the Mother City, dishes making a comeback such as the iconic Two Oceans seafood platter, and the classic favourites of grilled fish of the day, slow roasted pork belly and chocolate volcano dessert offers variety and flavours. The Two Oceans Restaurant prides itself on offering fine dining with world renowned views.

Where do I start?? I’m not long back from an epic trip to Cape Town but what topped the holiday with my girlfriend’s is THIS tour!! From start to finish, we were thoroughly spoilt! Not only is it great value for money, we got to go to places that we may not have seen without our very knowledgable & entertaining tour guide! Right from the time of booking, Queer Eye tours clearly explain what the trip consisted of, where to meet and what we should expect. The experience exceeded all of our expectations! We were greeted with champagne as we hit the road for our day of adventure. It’s a truly unique experience and I can’t recommend it more! It’s all we can talk about! I’ll definitely be back again! Thank you so much, Queer Eye Tours 💓💛💙💜
