The pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx are among the most popular tourist destinations in the world. The Great Pyramid of Giza was built for king Khufu , and the other two for Khafre and Menkaure, his son and grandson. Khufu’s pyramid is both the oldest and largest of the three. Although the three pyramids dominate the plateau, they are in fact surrounded by many other monuments. Every king’s pyramid was just one element albeit the most important of a larger complex that included smaller, subsidiary, queens’ pyramids and the valley temple. In the morning we will pick up you to start your experience with your professional Egyptologist tour guide to visit the only one from the ancient seven wonders of the world still stand till today intact.

It was a really fun experience. Private tour with my partner and Gamil is also a good photographer. He knows the real spots to take unique pictures on your visit to the pyramids. Thank you Gamil!

Gamil was just fabulous! Best tour guide and most interesting we had in a 10 day tour of all the important historical sites and despite it being our second visit to the pyramids in 10 days he made it so different and interesting and covered so many more interesting and important facts it was like we were there for the first time! (Though I don’t think you can ever not be blown away by this sight even if you visited everyday like Gamil told me so himself!! Gamil was not only a fantastic guide who oozed passion and enthusiasm, he also fancied himself a bit of a photographer and despite the low visibility on the day due to a sand storm took amazing pictures of all the group and so quite comical ones. He understood how important it was for us to capture this moment! Afterwards he happily remained with our group to take us on a perfume and oil talk where we got to sample essential oils and make some purchases and then on to a mini food experience at a local Egyptian restaurant where we were given VIP treatment and treated to a host of classics Egyptian food to sample, all delicious. We finished our time at a local spice vendors which again was very interesting and gave us the opportunity to purchase spices, teas and even Egyptian M and Ms! Gamil was the perfect host for our large group, who happily accommodated last minute changes and even arranged for us to drop our suitcases off at our new hotel before the trip started. Nothing seemed too much trouble and he interacted with the whole group well!

Gamil was hands down the best tour guide that we had in the 10 days we spent in Egypt. He went above and beyond for our group of families- even loaning one teen his sunglasses during a sandstorm we encountered during our tour. Some of our group had visited the pyramids before and others had not, but he managed to make it truly special for all of us! He’s a fantastic photographer, taking special pictures at several sites. Not only did he give us a great tour of the pyramids and the sphinx, but he extended the tour for us with lunch and a stop at an aromatherapy center. I can honestly say Gamil’s tour was the highlight of our trip!

Gamil is amazing! I was on a group tour with a number of families, but missed the pyramids because I wasn’t feeling well. He was extremely accommodating with us adding on some of the families that had already been when we told them we were going. While on the tour Gamil was engaging, highly informative, funny, and provided a unique experience for those that had already been. He also takes some great pictures. I would HIGHLY recommend any tour with Gamil. If I come back to Egypt, he is the first person I would call.

Fantastic tour by gamil today. He could tell very interesting and gave us the space to indicate what we wanted and didn't want! Put on nice clothes, because he makes a whole photoshoot of it:). Definitely recommended! Book right away! Ps. Good to know, you won't notice the war in Iran! It was a great day!

Gamil is not only a lovely guy, but very very knowledgable about the whole site of the pyramids and their history. On top of that - everything ran smoothly, and I felt comfortable the whole time (as a solo female traveler). I would not hesitate to book again with Gamil, my next time in Egypt. Thank you very much Gamil!

We really enjoyed the morning with Gamil at the Pyramids. He really enjoys his job which you can feel every second. He has great knowledge and is always in for a good joke. (Besides even though we are not really into tourist photos, he did a great job taking good pictures ;) ) We would definitely recommend this tour with Gamil.
