Explore and discover one of Mauritius' most amazing natural wonders; imposing cliffs, thundering waves, hidden waterfall, natural pools, amazing natural geological rock formations, soothing forests and endless beauty of the south coast. This part of the island is not surrounded by coral reefs allowing violent waves to crash on the cliffs. Guided by our local and certified mountaineer, you will:
- Explore hidden waterfalls (including Cascade Mamzelle) - you may opt for going under the waterfall for a natural massage.
- Walk in charming and soothing Filao forests.
- Learn about the unique flora and fauna of Mauritius and the neighborhood.
- Relax in a natural pool along with a few Melon Butterflyfishes swimming around you.
- Visit "La Roche Qui Pleure" - natural geological rock formations.
- Discover the beach cave (only if the tides are low).

Wild South is a beautiful combination of relaxation and sea therapy. You will not only be wandering in a peaceful environment but also with the cool and relaxing breeze of the sea. We shall stop at various point so that you have enough time to relax, to enjoy your surroundings and more information about the neighborhood and other fascinating subjects will be provided by our mountaineer. 5.00It was truly an exploration of the wilderness! An incredible adventure that allowed me to step out of my comfort zone. But it was worth it! We walked along the wild coast and saw breathtaking landscapes. So if you too want to have an experience off the beaten track, follow Kevin and you will have unforgettable memories!

5.00What a day ! We were only me and my husband with our guide Kevin. He did great job telling us a lot of information about the history of the island and encouraging us in every moment cause the trip included some difficult and steep sections. This tour is a must do, this part of the island is so beautiful and wild, dont miss the opportunity to plunge in this adventure. Dont worry , Kevin is the best!

5.00Kevin is an amazing guy with all the knowledge of the island. We climbed Black river peak what for me was the highlight of the tour. At the 7 coloured earth we had a delicious lunch. As I really like hiking, Kevin took me to another beautiful small hike that was not on the itinerary, ending up with magic views. That shows that he is very flexible according to the wishes of the clients. I absolutely recommend him as a guide and wil certainly come back so he can take me on other tours !!!

5.00Loved everything about the wild south hike with Kevin:) i contacted him through email and the response time was very quick .. received all details promptly.. the views on this trek are superb.. Kevin is a wonderful guide .. he ensures you are okay all along the hike:) A must do if you want to do something more than beaches on Mauritius :)

5.00Amazing experience! Perfect combination of hiking, climbing and swimming. You will see waterfalls, natural swimming pools and an impressive landscape. At the end of our tour we even saw a whale in the ocean. In total a great tour that you shouldn’t miss!

5.00We booked the hike to the le mourne in the morning through airbnb and where so happy with Kevin as a tourguide. Because of that we booked directly the wild south for the afternoon. Exploring the wild south was just a great trip, where we learned a lot about the history of mauritius thanks to the detailed explanations of kevin and saw some great scenerie. The wild south was a great adventure where you can swim in a natural pond surrounded by big waves or more quietly in the pond of the waterfall in the middle of the forest. We can really recommend this trip for all, that want a more relaxing hike with great views!! Thank you Horazis and Kevin for this experience!!! Cheers Raquel and Kay

5.00A timeless hike in the wild south that allowed me to discover places I did not know. Waterfalls and caves that were close to the places I had already visited. Beautiful discoveries to explore. I look forward to the next excursion. Kevin is at his best as a guide and adapts to everyone's possibilities.
