This was a great tour to quickly get the highlights on the Colosseum especially if you are visiting by cruise ship for the day. Travel into and out of Rome takes up half of the the day so we wanted something that was quick. Our guide was also very knowledgeable on the history.

Fabio was a wonderful tour guide and we would highly recommend him. Our only disappointment was that the Forum entry pass was not easy to use due to the long line and small entry point.

Great tour of the Colosseum arena floor with a wonderful tour guide, Fabrizzio (spelling?) who was SO interesting, well spoken and knowledgeable. We learned the history of the construction, but also how the Colosseum was used for social control. Good news, over 80% of the Gladiators made it out alive. We were SO happy to be in a small group of six and not a huge group of 80 like we saw in other groups. Booking the tour and communication leading up to it was also excellent. A favorite tour on our whole trip!

Lorenzo has the professionalism and proficiency of the history of Rome. He not only taught us about the Colosseum but also how Rome came to be now from what it was. I highly recommend these private tours esp if it’s your first time in Rome and are interested in history.
