5.00It was an absolute honour to spend a few hours with Joe from Wanahaka. We came for the wine tour but experienced so much more. He welcomed us with a traditional Māori greeting, taught us about language, local history and culture while seamlessly integrating visits to two vineyards where we sampled superb quality wines, before delivering us safely back to our accommodation. We listened, we learned, we laughed and we left with a very different perspective on those who came before us and the land they care for. This tour is authentic. Thank you Joe, we will be back for the full day Wanahaka wine tour next time!

It was a privilege to meet Joe and have him share some Maori history and culture He is a wonderful person and very knowledgeable and easy to talk with The wine tour was relaxed, informative, interesting and included lots of delicious tastings We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and highly recommend as must do in Wanaka

5.00This was the most amazing experience! Joe was an absolutely fantastic your guide, who went above and beyond to make experience memorable. From taking our call late on Sunday night, arranging a van big enough to accommodate our group of 10, and sharing the Maori culture and history so eloquently - the whole experience was one that will live in my memory forever! Highly recommend!
