Venture beyond the iconic Sani Pass to explore remote Basotho villages and historical sites. Enjoy intimate cultural exchanges with the locals, including visits to traditional homes, a meeting with a local healer, and the chance to witness ceremonial dances. Stop at Black Mountain (3,240m) to enjoy panoramic views of Africa's second-highest peak, Thabana Ntlenyana, and visit the secluded villages of Mokhotlong and Makhapung.
Kindly Note:

We had an amazing trip with Lesotho on Track through the Sani Pass and into Lesotho. Our driver, Njabulo, was absolutely fantastic — friendly, professional, and full of knowledge about the region. He made the journey both educational and enjoyable, sharing fascinating insights about the local culture, history, and landscapes along the way. The drive itself was breathtaking, and we felt completely safe and well taken care of throughout. We highly recommend Lesotho on Track to anyone wanting to explore this beautiful part of the world. Thank you, Njabulo, for making our adventure so memorable!

The long day trip is definitely worth it. Driving into the Sanipass is already great in terms of experiencing the nature around you. The Sanipass itself, we had fog above but therefore perhaps even more spectacular! What we didn't know, the stops along the way. The 1st stop was very nice, in terms of explanation about Lesotho in a roundavel. The dancing of a number of men we were not waiting for. Unfortunately there was first the stop and then only explained what we were going to do. The 2nd stop was fun, but occasionally a bit embarrassing, the dancing women in front of you. Of course, it is also about the yields, no problem with , but perhaps was useful just in advance to inform the travelers what we are going to do the day. The last was lunch in Mokhotlong, that was known, unfortunately nothing was arranged for us there. We only bought some bread at the supermarket. Perhaps wrong of us, we thought we would eat at a traditional Lesotho restaurant, well that was what we were joined absolutely not! However, the absence of food could not help the organization. This was locally wrong, and the apology has accepted e. They are going to work with that. In addition, we did go into town for a while. Experience a 10, for the organization a little more information about what the day means.
