Visit The Great Salt Pond Drive around the Great Salt Pond where you see the Salt Pickers statue depicting how the salt was harvested in the olden days.
St Martin / St Maarten
Drive Thru Fort Willem Next, we will drive through Fort Willem where you will get a great view of Philipsburg, Great Bay/ Little Bay and one of our historical forts “Fort Amsterdam” --The Fort was built by the Dutch in 1631 and is located on a peninsula that juts out between Great Bay and Little Bay.

Changed Tour Without Notice

1.00We paid $110 for a tour we did not receive. Because they failed to sell enough spots, they moved us to a completely different tour, at a different location and different start time than what was clearly stated in Viator messages. The only communication we received was a vague “pick up time changed to 9:30am,” when the actual tour start time was 10:00am. There was no explanation, no notice that we had been switched, and no opportunity to decline. We were placed on an Adventure tour we intentionally did not choose, because it was not what we wanted. This was a bait-and-switch experience and extremely unprofessional. Paying customers should not be forced into a different product due to the company’s poor planning.

5.00Action Jackson was a GREAT tour guide! We learned so much about the islands' culture, landscape, regulations, changes, history, etc. My family (which included 2 primary-age students) was very engaged and really enjoyed it. The stops along the way were a great way to explore the area and interact with animals, landmarks and vegetation. The French side is the fun side, lol! Marigot Market was great and the food was delicious. I would 100% recommend and we are so thankful for such kindness of everyone we encountered.

3.00The bus was super hot for the first 45 min until he finally turned on the a/c. The guide, while very generous on giving our drinks, did not tell us anything about the island at all, other than there were some statutes in the roundabouts that were about freedom fighters. We stopped to feed iguanas and one photo op, and had 15 min in the French part to buy a pastry. Maho beach was nice, we were there for about an hour and a half, then they dropped off my party at some shopping and took everyone else back to the ship and that was that. We took a cab back.about half the people took their own cab back from Maho because the bus was so hot.

5.00The shuttle buses were clean and air conditioned. There were free drinks offered. Our driver/guide, “Sexy” was friendly and I formative!

5.00We did a tour with Bernards Tours on 28.03.2023. From pick up to return to the ship it was a super great time! We were only 11 people in the group, which made the trip very personal. Tanya made the trip one of our most beautiful experiences in the Caribbean. We heard a lot of interesting things and were provided with information about the island. 😊 The itinerary was followed as indicated. At the respective points we had enough time for sightseeing, to take pictures or/and to swim. We were served drinks of water, cola, rum punch). Everything was perfect from A to Z! We can only recommend this tour to anyone! Many greetings and a big thank you to the team. Anita and Julia

4.00When we checked in, we were told that since we were the only ones signed up for the Calypso tour, they were putting us on a different tour instead. Since the new tour included a beach stop, I was concerned because my husband cannot tolerate the sun due to skin cancer. They did accommodate us by dropping us off at a shopping stop as an alternative. Milkman was a great guide, and other than the redirecting of our tour, we were very happy with it.
Ask for the Mailman!!!
